Wednesday ~ vet day

Princess:
Well, mommie and Blizzie are leaving at 10:30, taking Caesar in the prison box, to the vetlady (poor thing... actually Caesar is much more cooperative than I am. I get very cross going out anywhere) ... so I have a chance here to give a quick up date.
We are so appreciative of the suggestions and encouragement all of you have given. I know mommie feels like she has an army of friends behind her now.
We will keep you posted on Caesar's progress.
I can tell you that yesterday Caesar was really doing a stellar job of fooling mom into thinking that he was just as healthy as ever. He got fed meat glop 5 times yesterday! He also got two big doses of that Lactulose. It sometimes spills on his furs and it is hard to lick off. I tried. Mommie now washes his furs after she gives him his dose. What is that stuff? feels like wax and glue.

Caesar had a good day yesterday.

Mommie used to be an RN, so she is not at all shaky about needles. she actually used to be very very good at drawing blood and starting IV's back in the day. I guess she is just so worried about Caesar and his comfort. Caesar is definitely mommie's boy.

I better run off now... I will try to visit around later and maybe (don't get your hopes up, I may be tending to Caesar) I will give an update... maybe tomorrow. If not, do not despair... soon.

Thank you so much for the strong purrrs
(((hugs)))) headbutts and nose kisses to all of you

Adding on at 3 PM:
Princess:
Mommie and Blizzie went to the vet lady with Caesar.
They got home one hour later, with a huge bag of stuff, big baggs of water, some plastic ropes, new cans of meatglop and a big bag full of green sticks.... and some medicines in little bottles.
Caesar looked quite happy. He came out of the prison box and got some snacks right away.
Mommie and Blizzie are treating him really nice, calling him "little man" and "brave tiger".
The vetlady said that Caesar was a really good boy.
He likes it! He likes one of the new foods, Hill's KD or something like that. It looks creepy but Caesar likes it :-)
We hope all is well with everyone. Thank you for your puuuurrrrs and good wishes. They work!!

Tuxie Tuesday

Caesar:
I am just going to relax and stay calm today.
Perhaps even muster up some energy to act perky.
Maybe mommie will think I am all better and I won't have to go to the vetlady tomorrow.
I am pretty sure some horrible things will happen.

Sorry... we might not be blogging or commenting much.
mommie needs time to adjust to the new routine around here with everyone home...
and of course... ME and my troubles.
she definitely needs to get used to that.
we love all of you kitties and beans. Please bear with us

True Confessions Monday

True Confessions!

Dragonheart tagged us for the True Confessions meme.
We could write an entire encyclopaedia of naughty things we have done over the past 16 years... but we will try to keep this short.

Prinnie:
I went through a nesting stage when I was about two years old. I stole many things and stored them under Blizzie's bed ... dirty clothing, mostly undies from the laundry basket, bath towels (I dragged them down the hall), a bag of hot dog rolls, "used personal items" from the trash in mommie's bathroom. Mommie never knew about it until one day she went looking under beds for some silly reason....

Caesar: I used to go in to the pantry and chomp open bags of food and eat what ever was hiding inside, cereal, chips, it was all good. That was how I discovered I loved Peperidge Farm Goldiefishies. Then mommie started a rule that the pantry door had to be closed all the time.

Oh wait... there's more. . .

Princess: once I was messing around in our unfinished basement and found a way to walk on top of the insulation that was attached to the wall then I fell in (ooops) and mommie came down stairs and saw a lump moving in the wall. It was me. She had to cut the insulation to get me out.

Caesar: I used to chomp on rolls of toilet paper. Just do a big chop right in the middle. okay maybe a few more chomps.

Princess: When mommie feeds us, I eat really fast so I can help Caesar with his food. I do this every day.

Caesar: I like to chomp on Princess really gently and make her hiss and scream at me. That gets me excited and then I wrestle with her. She screams really loud and runs out of the room. Then I get the warm spot.

Princess: We sleep in our own room with the door closed at night now, but before, I used to like to sit on Blizzie's chest while she was sleeping. She would have dreams that she was suffocating before she would wake up.

Caesar: I do like to get into the drier. Now that we have lived for 16 years, it is just a habit for the beans to never re-run the drier without checking for me. I have never been tumbled, whew.

Princess: I must lick the plates every night after dinner. If I do not have this opportunity... well, things get ugly.

Caesar: when I was a kitten, I used to tear my toys to shreds in a matter of days and leave toy innards all over the place.

Princess: I love tipping my water bowl over. It is fun.
Blizzie gave me the usual cuppie of water in the bathroom this morning (I always get one while mommie showers) and I knocked that over. Water went every where heehee. Some times I try to pick the bowl back up with my teeth to get it up right again.

Caesar: I love to help mommie cook. I help her. Hanging around the kitchen or just being close by, affords me the opportunity to pounce on this duty every day.

Princess: Do not pick me up unless you are Blizzie. Do not pet me unless you are Blizzie.

Caesar: I never cover in the litter box. NEVER. why bother?

Princess: I love to chew on plastic grocery bags, sometimes ANYTHING covered in plastic. So if mommie has something new or important in a plastic bag... she better not leave it out or she will be sorry!

Caesar: mmmMMMmmm plants taste soooo soooo good. I love to nibble and taste. If I do not like it then I just take chomps and throw the bits on the floor. Sometimes if I work realllly hard, I can dump the whole plant before mommie finds out.

How horrible are YOU??
We are not too sure who to tag, but if you have read this today and you have not been tagged you will have a great time doing this!
This is a lot of fun!

Though I am not naturally honest,
I am so sometimes
by chance.

-William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616)

Again: Deer frurryfriends we are so comforted by your love and caring thoughts and support.
Caesar ate a littel bit of breakfast this morning but he is very quiet. we are watching him.. and just looking forward to Wednesday. It is a holiday here today, however if he does not feel better tomorrow we may call the vetlady earlier and go in tomorrow. He loves the new Iams hairball crunchies. He is just being really quiet. we are going to give him lots of attention today. Thank you thank you thank you. Mommie is so happy to have this support from such wonderful kittyfriends and mommies

Sunday

Princess: Everyone is running out of here for early church,
so they can come home and play :-)

I just want to say a huge ginormous thank you to everycat and been.
Mom stopped crying for now.
Caesar is always quiet lately, he eats a little... he does not seem so active and peppy. He is still mommie's favorite lovey dovey big tiger.
We are trying to help him. Wednesday seems like a long time away. We want him to feel better soon. Mommie never had a 16 year old kitty, we have been so happy and healthy, so this is new for her.

We are going to do Dragonheart's meme this afternoonie!

Oh my oh my oh my

Sad sad sad sad.
Prinnie: Helpp help help
mommie can not deal with this . . . .

The vet lady called and told us the results of the tests they did on Caesar last week Wednesday.
Caesar has the following:
Kidney Disease.

He already has been diagnosed with heart murmur a few years ago.
So, now mommie and Caesar and Blizzie are going to the vet lady next Wednesday to learn how to give Caesar fluids with an injection everyday, and give him meds and special foods.

Mommie is freaking out.
Mommie is freaking out.
Mommie is freaking out.

her heart is breaking. I wish she would stop crying. It is giving me a headache!

Thursday's Thoughts

Princess:
WE hope everyone has a great day today.
Caesar is feeling lots better however... I think his butt is still very sore from all of that torture at the vet.
We are having a sunny day and mom is going to the ice-rink to say good-bye to her friend that is moving to Switzerland (and skate)!!
When she comes home we will visit around!
We love you furryfriends.
Caesar: Thanks for the strong purrs. They helped me through a very very humiliating situation.

Wacky Wednesday

Caesar: Prinnie likes to drink out of bowls that are in the sink... even ones that have a bit of dish-soapy water in them. Bleh! I think that is wacky. We hope you have a spiff~doodle day.
God sees us
as He would like us to be...
but loves us as we are.

Addendum from Prinnie: mommie just got home. She had to take Caesar to the vetplace again because he is sick in his tummy and crying. She had to leave Caesar at the vetplace for further torturing!!! I want my brother back home now!!
Uppie-date on Caesar: The ladyvet called and said that Caesar got the big poops out (he would be so horrified to know that I told you this, but I knew you would want to know). She told mommie to come and get him at 5:30 pm (about an hour from now) The ONLY good news from all of this is that mommie got all of the bathrooms cleaned today staying home waiting for the doctor updates - instead of running around town skating and shopping and playing..... I will keep you posted sweet fuzzy friends ~Prinnie
6:54 pm upster-date: Caesar is home and locked in the room upstairs just incase he has a poop attack. He is kind of stinky and dirty but mommie said she was going to give him a "sponge bath". I am just glad I got my brother home. I missed him. I think I am going to spend the rest of my evening comforting him

Tennis Tuesday

Princess:

Well, my grandpa got The Gold Medal. Yep! in the doubles match.
My grammpa is the guy on the LEFT (the shorter one) Aren't they cute old guys?
That other guy, the tall one is my grammpa's tennis partner
Grampa also got a silver in the singles.
that lady in the black shortz is the medal passer outer. My gramma and grammpa (mommie's mom and dad) went to "the Merruhlind eastern shore" to be in the Senior Olympics. My grampa is a super tennis player and he is 82! My gramma is his faithful cheerleader (don't tell anyone but she is 83).
We are so proud of him!

Today, mommie is going to drive up to the Pensilvainya Messiah kollig and bring Blizzie home.
She is leaving right now... so we hope everyone has a super terrifical day
I am going to do some chores while mommie is gone and she will be vaary happy with me when she comes home.

ManCat Monday

Caesar:
Oh maaaannn I hope all of you kitties were extra nice to your mommies yesterday.
I came up with a super great idea and told daddie to get some burgers at 5 Guys so that is what he did and mommie was very happy. They have really great fried potatos that are fried in peanut oil. They smelled wowie yummy. I even got a lick.
They were going to go to gramma and grampa, but they went to the beach... more about that later, maybe tomorrow :-)
Here is a pic of me and mommie working out in front of the tv.
Well! don't I look manly? I am actually really her athletic trainer, but I like to work out with her to keep her motivated.

Saturday: week over view

Caesar:
yes, this has been quite a week... lots of things happened.. FUN things and terrible clogging things, happy times and sad events. Such is this life...

Now the week-end. This is really a good time to reflect.

Princess:
Thank you so much for the super strong purrrs for mommie. She is such a baby when she has to go to the doctor. She gets panicky... When she came home she was much happier and we gave her piles of attention.
Again, thank you from Caesar and me for those strong purrrrrrrz for mommie.

We are so excitapated about Blizzie coming home from the kollig compound next Toozday. Mommie has to go and get her because daddie will be in Floreeduh at a konfurrince. I think he will be eating ice cream there... because we saw a special ticket for the ice cream social. Wowie we could do what daddie does too... Anyway, mommie is going to drive her machine to Pencilvainya to get the Blizzette and all of her kollig clutter. We are going to have a party when she comes home. THEN we are going to have SlowSarah come over and learn how to take care of us, mommie is going to invite her early so she can learn all of our requirements because.... on Saterday... next Saterday, mommie daddie and Blizzie are going to go to the Kollig of the Williyam and the Mary and see Chystabelle gradjoomate from the kollig. I think she will have agradjoomation soot on and a special hat too.

So, anyway... getting back to today.

<3 farewell to a very much beloved furrriend ~

We are so deeply saddened for the loss of TeaCup, our favorite badkittycat ever.
We will miss you sweet friend... However, we will see you again some day
We snagged this wonderful picture of Mr. Handsome TeaCup Zepheniah, our most fond furrbuddy furrever from Megan his mommie's bloggie
We are sending strong purrs and prayers for TeaCup's family. All of us are so heartbroken.
It is going to take some time to heal from this loss.

Oh we want to cry a million tears today.
fortunately we had worked on our meme before we learned this news... otherwise, we are not sure we could have accomplished this.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:::sigh:::
and... we can try to go on bravely . . .
~Friday Frootbats~+ the meme
Dragonheart, and several other wonderful kittyfriends now (we did not realize we were "so Poopular")....tagged both of us to write 7 random things about ourselves. thank you everyone for tagging us to do this meme. (what does meme mean anyway?)
Here are the rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Kittypoos's who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven kitty tigers to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog!
Princess:
#1. I am all white, but when I was a kit-ten, I had some black furs on my head. They went away when I got big.
#2. When I was 1 year old, I went through a nesting stage after I was spayed. I gathered important things from around the house and hid them under Blizzie's (my favorite girl) bed. One day mom discovered under Blizzie's bed... *oh this is sooo embarraassssing* two bath towels, a half full package of hot dog rolls, lots of underpanties missing from the dirty laundry, and several used "sanitary items" of mommies absconded from her trashcan. I took the bag of hot dog rolls and the towels from down stairs and brought them up all by my self! The other items were readily available on the upper level. I continued this nesting activity for several months... mommie usually only took back the things that were food... or "icky" from under Blizzie's bed, as she felt I need to work through this stage...
#3 once when I was 3 years old, I climbed behind the insulation in the basement and got stuck behind there. Caesar had to go get mommie. She had to cut the insulation to get me out. That was interesting behind there...
#4 I swallowed a needle with red thread when I was two years old... on my mommies birthday. She had to take me to the emergency vet to get it removed. Lucky me, I had a really full tummy. Mommie had a great birthday that year.
#5 I am very vocal and very very loud
#6 I chewed off all of Caesar's whiskers. They never grew back :::blushes:::
#7 I love my little bean, Blizzie the best, but now that she is at kollig, I tolerate mom and dad. I miss sitting on Blizzie's lap while she plays the piano. She is coming home on Tuesday... I am so excited!!!!!
Caesar:
#1 I am mommie's faverite kitty boy. She adores me. I help her do everything. I purrr all the time.
#2 I look just like my kitty mommie (Prinnie looks like our kitty daddie, all wite)
#3 One day I like the meat glop being served, then the next day I don't like it. So mommie always has lots of open cans of stinkie goodness in the fridge. Sometimes she mixes two kinds together to get me to eat, so I only eat the part I like.
#4 I am very very messy in the litter box, I like to splash the litter around but I never cover. never.
#5 I always announce to mommie after I use the litter box by howling really REALLY loud and manly. Then when she says, "good boy Caesar" I change to my loud kit-ten voice. But she has to say 'good boy Caesar' or I go crazy.
#6 I still try to climb stuff even though I am 16 and getting kind of stiff and creaky .
#7 Prinnie and I sleep in our own paradise bedroom at night. It has a heeter, a huge peeple bed with piles of fluffy snuggly blankies and all the luxurious comforts you could imagine, even classical radio all night... but back in the day (before mommie got the hotflashie things) I would sleep with my mommie. I would get under the covers... and go down to the end of the bed, and lie on my side and hold on to mommies leg with my front legs and back legs. I had to sleep like that... then mommie started getting boiling hot so now we sleep in our own rooooom
We have lots of other things about us we could share but we will leave it at this.
When you are 16... you have history, heh hehe.
Here is the chance we get to pick from our friend kitties to do this meme thing.
We tag: (you have to list 7 things)
1 Chairman MaoMao
2 Sara (when she has a chance to dictate to her mommie because she is still at the ho-tel, poor fuzzy little suffering thing)
3 Mr. Hendrix, or Bendrix or both :-)
4 Fazlovebucket
5 Suzanne, the soon to be sweet and sassy 16
6. Floofy lovely Luna in Germany
7 SammmmmY the meEzer
We are needing some strong purrs for our mommie this morning. She has a doctor appointment today, and she needs to be brave. Strong Purrs for Braveness, pleeeeeeezzzzz
Thursday's Thoughts
Caesar:
Tuesday, when I went to the vetman... I really had to see a vet lady and she was pretty nice. She had long red fur on her head. The whole visit was rather embarrassing, the whole being constipated thing. I was totally humiliated . . .
But the nice thing was, as usual, everyone at Leesburg Veterinary Hospital was so nice and they thought I was really handsome. They hadn't seen me in so long since I have been so healthy, so they even acted like they missed me. Everyone was like, "Wowie Caesar" I like how they pretend you are famous or something when you go to the vet.
Since the last time I was there, I noticed a few changes. The waiting room now has a huge aquarium, and there were the usual two big cages with cute kitties looking for forever homes. One kitty was ginormus. His name was Cupid. His paws were four times the size of mine and his head was huuuuge it was twice as big as mine. He was pretty laid back.
I also met a doggie that like kitties. His man brought him over to the kitty side (not really allowed) and that was a friendly doggie but wowie he scared me half to death. Good thing my mommie was there.
So, anyway, the vet tech was a guy and he was really nice to me.
The vet lady said it is normal for 16 year olds to get constipated. How embarrassing.
When we got home I just curled up in a ball and tried to sleep off the trauma....
Now I have to take some medicine every day. Mom gives it to me in a syringe. she jusst dumps it in my mouth. I am okay with that. It is not so bad.
So anyway... life is good. I had a really nice looking poop this morning. Very big and brown. I was so proud of it I did not cover it.
Oh, I almost forgot, here is a picture of Blizzie the little girl bean at the kollig with her Jazzgroop. Mommie and daddie went to see her on Saterday. She is the one playing the big black box on the left. They call that a piano. We have one here but mommie wont let me in that room to inspect it. It is one of those, you know, "no-no" places
Mom is going to the rink today. We hope all of you kitties have a super fabbie day! We will be here, basking in the sun... oh, it looks like rain actually....
Word-Full Wednesday
Poor Caesar.... he had to go to the vetman yesterday.
After mommie came home from the rink yesterday,
Caesar started complaining of a poopie stuck in his butt.
He was crying and everything, so mommie got the blue prison box out and took Caesar away in the car.
he came back later and smelled really funny. Mommie showed me the medicine he has to take every day to keep his poops soft. I am going to drink a lot and show mommie I do not need medicine for poops.
We hope you have a great day today. Mommie is going to be home most of the day but she might go out hunting for food.
I am going to go check on Caesar now.
We love you kittiefriends
Tigresssss Toozday
Princess:
yesterday was a really pretty day. It was sunny and nice.
Our daddie opened the back door for me.
So, I spent most of the day .... just like this. It was so nice
My great gramma knitted this yellow blankie.
I think my mommie gave it to me.
Today is supposed to be warm again. goodie!
ManCat Monday
Caesar:
I think I look like a mancat in this picture.
See my huge muskles? I even have a 6-pack. Can you see it? It has handles :-D
We missed Chey and Latte's wonderful wedding and reception. Mommie and daddie left for Blizzie's kollig at 5:pm on the dot and did not come home until 12:30 am!
They had a wonderful time... hugging Blizzie and listening to her play the piano with her Jazz Groop, and we sat here alone and our limo never showed up! We were very very very disappointed. I was thinking about barfing on the carpet in retaliation but... I am 16 now so I just took it like a mancat. Prinnie was terribly upset and sobbed quietly in a tissue all evening.
We saw the pictures of the wedding and we just want to say ConCatulations to you, Latte and Chey and may you have many blissful years together.
On a side note: mommie brought home a noospaper from Blizzie's college. Blizzie does not know anyone that works at the college noospaper and also, Blizzie does not even know we have a blog (she is so busy with college she does not even have time to read our blog anyway) There was an article in the paper about "a cat that blogs" and they wrote an article primarily about a blog called Prince Muddy Paws. ... We will scan the article later this week. My mommie was very shocked to see OUR NAMES mentioned in the article.... very very freaky.
Have a happy day KitCATS!!
Thursday not Thirteen!!
Caesar: we are waiting.
One day we would love to do a thursday 13... but mommie is driving us nuts over here.
She is in the "May Panic" mode.
Our big bean sister Chrytabelle, is graduating from kollig in 18 days... in Willyaamsburg, Virginia at the kollig of Willyaam and Merrryy or something like that. She is super smart. so mommie is going bananas about going to the graduation, what to wear!! and all sorts of other non-important things, like parties and invitashins and cleening the house!
Also, next week she has to bring the baby Blizzie bean home from her kollig in PeeAy.
Suffice to say, mommie is driving us nuts and what is she doing today?
no, not planning a graduation party, no, not making a packing details list, no not making a list of important things for Slow Sarah to know about when she comes over to take care of us while they are gone to Willyaamsburg. no. she is....
skating >O_O< the nerve!
We hope you have a very happy day today.
Love, Caesar
Wednesday at the window
Princess:
I like this window.
I can relax here (see how mommie put these great little ruggies on the wide sill? I love her for that even though, a-choo, they need to be washed) and if I look out the window I can see the silly neighbor's bird feeder with the bloo birdies flying around.
Mommie is home today doing her duties... a little stiff. She fell on the ice yesterday and rebruised her old bruise on her arm, hahahahahaha silly mommie
Ice, mommie, ICE. Ibuprofen too, okay?
I hope everycat has a super fun Wednesday
Can I just say... right now, we really really like our blogging friends here. You kitties are so great.
You are loved by us <3
Princess:
Gorgeous day outside but the beans are no where to be found today. again!
Mommie opened the back door for us and we had a chance to see such pretty things in the yard.
Then she went out!
It is in Christ that we find out who we are
and what we are living for.
Long before we learned of Christ
and got our hopes up,
He had his eye on us.
