We Are The Schmmooooozers

Yes, yeppie we are!
Daisy nominated us for this award and we gladly and proudly accept it.
Princess:

“As it goes, schmoozing is the natural ability 'to converse casually, especially in order to gain an advantage or make a social connection.' Good schmoozers effortlessly weave their way in and out of the blogosphere, leaving friendly trails and smiles, happily making new friends along the way. They don’t limit their visits to only the rich and successful, but spend some time to say hello to new blogs as well. They are the ones who engage others in meaningful conversations, refusing to let it end at a mere hello - all the while fostering a sense of closeness and friendship."

  • Each recipient is to post the badge on their site with a link to their post and bestow the award upon five bloggers.

We love every kitty blogger because there is love and kindness and friendship and joy here in Bloggieland. We believe that every cat is amazing. In exchange for a little bit of attention and love we get from our wonderful beans, we give freely and unconditionally (well... most of the time) Encouragement, Hope, Purrs and Happiness everyday... just by being the adorable and cute tiny tigers that we are! How easy is that? WE have been doing it for 16 years.. we are so good, we can do it in our sleep, hahahahaha meaow haha meow meow

Here are 5 kitties that we believe deserve this awardie:

Dragonheart: This boy was easy. He and his mommie were the first ones to pounce over here and give us information about CRF, when Caesar got the big diagnosis. It is so wonderful when beans and kitties come out of nowhere and pick you up, and point where to go.
He of course is such a
little guy awwww, sooo cute and tiny. When we read his bloggie he helps us remember every thing we did, every crazy idea we had, when we were kit-tens. We were very very wild and busy... very busy. Dragonheart loves his mommie and daddie and tells us about them and the places they go.. with out him. Dragonheart is a friend to all.

Bogdan: He just tells things as they are. The truth and the whole truth. We like that. He is a great friend and he cares about other kitties. He shares in fallibilities as well. How humble. He is a funny fellow too!

BenFuzzkins: This little fuzzbert has had a huge task. We admire how he scooped his mommie up into his heart... That meant, we will carry on, mommie. We can do this together! We love you BenFuzz.

Oh this is such a difficult task to just pick 5. Can we please just pick a hundred kitties??? Please????????? Okay... well, last but not the least:

Miles and Sammy: They are two of the cutest meezer brothers ever. They make us laugh and they are also a lot like Caesar and I were when we were kit-tens. Working as a team. we like that, it confuses the bean big time, they however also share their concern for the sweet kitty friends here and there. They are always happy and enthusiatic!

So many choices... these meme's and awardies make us crazy. We have to wrack our brains!!

Happy Snappy Thursday!! Go out and attack the day!
well, we are anyway...

even if you have to make it up...

Peaches Peaches Peaches

mmmm yummmmy
can I have a taste?

You think eating peaches is icky?
Well.... how about peach pie?
Here is a recipe for my mommie's Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
~1/2 cup white sugar

~1 and 1/2 sticks (so that would be 3/4 cup... as 8 tblsp are 1/2 cup=1 stick) of butter or margarine

~About 2 cups of Self Rising Flour

~1 medium egg

~A whole lot of peaches... say, at least, about 9 medium size
~for peaches in the bowl: another half cup sugar, cinnamon and Instant Vanilla Pudding (Such as Jello instant package, in it's dry state, right out of the package)
~a 9x9 square pyrex dish or something similar do not grease it
~Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Preparation:
~cut up the peaches into nice chunks not slices. 1 inch squares, bite size... keep the skin on.

~Put the peaches in a medium size bowl and set aside...

~In a nice big bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until creamy then add the egg, mix.

~Add flour a little at a time, keep mixing in more until (it feels like firm playdoh) you can handle it with floured fingers. (these are Blizzie's piano hands)

~take about 1/5 of the dough off and save on a dry plate. (keep the flour out, you will need it)

~Press the rest of the dough evenly into the 9x9 dish.
~Set that aside

~dump the pile of peaches into the big bowl that you mixed the dough in,
~to the bowl of peaches, sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar and two Tablespoons Instant vanilla pudding, then toss gently with a spoon to sort of get them coated.

~Dump the peaches into the dish. Spread them around, if it is too high then use your hands and gently smash the peaches down so they are nice and cozy, esp the corners. If you have way too many and they are falling out... give them to hubby to eat (guys never eat enough fruit)... you don't want the peaches falling out of the dish.

~Sprinkle with cinnamon, a
s much as you like.
~Divide the left over dough into 6 balls, then with flour make some strips, don't try to get fancy, just kind of roll and mold something, flatten and lay it across the top. Use flour for easier handling. You should be able to get 3 going each way. Don’t bother weaving, the “weaving police” never show up for peach cobblers. Besides, if they do, the peachy cinnamon aroma will over whelm them.

~
BAKE for 50 minutes.
let cool one hour before eating.
Refrigerate leftovers.

My mommie wrote this recipe so if your beans have questions about it, then just let them ask in the comments section here :-)

Today is going to be a great day!

Being tough Tuesday

Caesar:

I am really sick and tired -- I mean completely bored with these subq's.

Every day: .... mommie, hovers with that stupid bag wrapped in foil (to protect the contents from sunlight). She is always aware of my location and it's possibilities... to hang that dumb bag!
Then... stab/ow/sit still.
It has gotten to the point that when I see mommie... I quietly vacate the premises.

can't you see I am busy now?

no-no mommie...take that away please...

NOW, she brings the bowl, a spoon, and my favvvverite baby foods... she sets the whole deal next to me, hangs that stoopit bag up (it is on a hanger) and forces me to sit and stare at the bowl and the jar of the most yummy meat-goo ever, and the spoon... so, I see the reward.

Today... the same. I know I will get the stabbing... and the reward, sometime between 1:00 and 5:00. Mommie is very goal oriented (a retired RN too). Her new plan is working.

Have a happy Tuesday
headbutts from the braveboy.

Five Things meme Monday

Dragonheart tagged us with this very interesting meme;
We are excited to answer these probing questions

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Caesar: Ten years ago, we were 6 years old and living in the other house 5 streets away. It was 1997... Chrsytabelle was just beginning 7th grade and Blizzie was starting 4th grade. (wowie how time flies) We helped them with their homework and their school projects. (sometimes I would chomp on their papers)
We were wild monkeys. Mommie used to think there were 3 Caesar's living in the house, because I was everywhere. I used to like to jump from the upstairs to the downstairs, which was roughly about 12 feet.

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:
Caesar:
1. pay off the girlbeans college bills (college is monsterously expensive these days)

3. get mommie some piano lessons (seriously, she needs them)
4. buy a big piece of property with a lake and views and open a cat shelter, complete with baby goats and gardens and a small indoor ice rink and swimming pool and exercise room for cats and beans!
5. invest the rest so I can think of other things to do with the interest.

Five bad habits:
Caesar:

2. never ever covering my poops in the box
Princess:

Rockin' Kitties SUNDAY

Thank you Rosie and Latte for these wonderful awards!
We are very honored to have them... we are sixteen and hardly feel like we are "rockin" but we are thrilled that our friends think we are! That makes us feel really happy.
okay, so maybe even Rockin' Happy!

We need to pick five rockin boy kitties and five rockin girl kitties.
Well, this is extremely difficult for us! We are too old for such tasks!!!

okay Okay....

Prinnie's five girl pics are

  • The other @-->--Rosie: She is sweet and very pretty
  • Sophia diva Kitty: she is such a cool rockin girl. she has music on her bloggie and lives with two cute sweet bunnies! She puts her kittie scent on all of the wonderful snuggles her mommie knits!
  • Kat3 because she is feisty and smart!
  • Pixie: she eats bananers and her fur is pretty. We love when she gets to blog on Daisy's blog!
  • and Luna: she is adventurous and brave to go outside on her own.

There are many more girls we could pick, but we should only pick five....

here are my Rockin five boykitties

  • BeauBeau: a great brother, and a happy playful guy
  • Ernest and Fritz: the cool boys, always using their brains and in control of their feeders
  • George: he is so good looking and mancatly too
  • Bogdan: This guy is a great reporter and he is just plain snazzy! I like his French beret hat.

Again, waaaay too many amazing choices.

We think all of our friends are rockin' cool!

Happy Day Kitties!
