Wordless Wednesday

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring,
happy bells, across the snow:

The year is going,
let him go;

Ring out the false,

ring in the true.

Monday ponderings from the mancat and canmat-in-braining

Pierro:
Monday bonkbonks and last day of Autumn greetings to all of you

Miles: Bronks and thanks for your very very kind words
last Friday. I did not know Prinnie, but I really wish I did. She reminds me of my mommmeeeee curlieswirlie Coco *sigh*
This is a busy week for every kitty and every bean. Mom is scurrying around and trying to get everything done, I am going to be in the kitchen to help mommy with her baking.

Pierro:
I will be here in the sun on the eating table and have a careful look at this magazine.

Miles: Have a fun week kitties!

This is the fourth week of Advent
Have a lovely week preparing for Christmas

Heavenly Father,
help us to celebrate Jesus' coming in joy and peace.
May we welcome him into our lives
in a new way this Christmas,
allowing him to love and act in and through us.
Help us to be like Mary,
always ready and eager
to do your will.
Increase our faith and love.
Amen.

Remembering Our Princess

Pierro:
Today I am going to tell you about Princess.
When I came to live here in my forever home, I had a nice sister named Princess.

She was an olde lady but a very cute one, a little crouchy but that was because she was rickety, also I was new and she just lost her beloved littermate Caesar.
Prinnie was born, with her tuxie brother Caesar in 1991 on April 15th
Mommie got Caesar and Princess in July of that year.
Here they are in their new forever home.

Blizzie was only 3 years old and Christabelle was only 6!!

Princess was a good girl when she was a kitten, but she liked to get into things. Once she went behind the washer and came out all black - ew.
Once she was in the unfinished basement and she climbed into the insulation. Mom had to cut her out.
these two were quite a team
the beans have a lot of good memories
Caesar and Princess were two good cats!

Last year, Missie Princess went to the bridge. Caesar was calling her to come home.
Missie Peachies' mom made this lovely picture for us

Princess was so curly

and just like a pink flower.
She was really smart and beautiful

Dear Princess
sweet sweet snowy white flower ~ We miss you so so soooo much
We can not believe it has been a whole year since you went to the bridge to be with your brother Caesar.
Sometimes we still cry when we think about you.
We miss you.

*sigh* two best friends
together again.

pretty in pink
You really were our sunshine

Ever absent, ever near;
Still I see thee, still I hear;

Yet I cannot reach thee, dear!

~Francis Kazinczy

When you are sorrowful
look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping for that
which has been your delight

~Kahlil Gibran

Wordless Wednesday

Wouldn't life be worth the living
Wouldn't dreams be coming true
If we kept the Christmas spirit
All the whole year through?

Mancat and Canmat-in-Braining Monday

Pierro:
today I want to share with you two things that Miles and I do when we help mom in the kitchen.
See, I have to show mom where the mixer is and she can take it out to make the cookies. Then, I remind her that it goes back in this closit next to the olde coffee maker

Miles: I like to stand in the door of the refrigerator.
Mom says it is not helpful but I think it might be.
She has to close the door gently when I am standing on it.

Pierro:
Miles and I rest a lot at this window in the sunroom.
we relax and talk about being mancats and lots of times we wrestle too.

Miles:
bronks for a happy Monday

This December,
That love weighs more than gold!

Two peppy and cheerful Frootbats Friday

Miles:
Greetings, thanks bronkloads for the birthday wishes for mommy.
We were good boys all day!!

*sigh* It was very hard to be a good boy.
Pierro is my role model. He is always angelic and he does not even have to try!!!!

Pierro:
Miles is a bonkbonk excellent kittyboy. He just needs to keep working on personal restraint.

bonkbonkbonk for a happy bronkie week-end!!!

we are soooooo excited. Blizzie is coming home on Sunday
She only has one more kollig semester left and then she will graduate and be a working person. She is so amazing... and smart, she already got a job!!!
A very large consulting firm here in Northern Virginia snapped her up. So she will be fully employed in June just a month after she graduates.

okay, so we are going to enjoy the sunshine and
look for the birdies.

Play with life, laugh with life,
dance lightly with life,
and smile at the riddles of life,
knowing that life’s only true lessons
are writ small in the margin.

Wordless very windy c-c-c-cold Wednesday

Never put off until tomorrow
what you can do

the day after tomorrow.

- Mark Twain

ps: Don't tell any kitty, okay? but today is mom's birthday.
We think she might be 105 bonkbonk years old now!
We are going to try to be good boys for her. Don't we look like angels?
