I am sorry we have not been visiting very much. Mom has been very busy.
She says I am high maintenance now. I am very demanding and need an escort whenever I want to go upstairs or downstairs (which I like to do quite often: to visit my many cozy beds) because Pierro likes to tackle me and wrestle with me.
I also am sort of demanding. well...
I am 18 and a half. If I want macaroni and cheese right now, I mean right now!!

yep, I am still wearing my superlion collar.
It is orange and mom says it is easy to find me.
yeah, mom thought about making a pumpkin face on the collar and sewing a little light brown stem sort of hat for my head, with some muted green leaves attached.

she has been really busy.

Hi kitties.
Well here I am, in all of my extreme beauty.
I put on two pounds and I feel great.

mom made a better collar for Pierro.
It is made of orange felt (it was the only color she had in her felt stash that was large enough) Bloo would have been nice.. mom did not have any bloo.

He likes it better. He can nap now and the collar folds enough that it does not catch on stuff, or make a racket... which is traumatizing enough! His licking booboos are getting better.

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
well, I am not such a great mancat... :-(
Sometimes I werry about things... I don't know why, I just do.
Like when mommy goes away for a long time.

I am a scaredy kitty...sometimes.... and I am really afraid of strangers.
When I worry, I start licking.
then I get a booboo

mom made a collar out of paper, but it made me really sad, so yesterday mom invented a new collar, she made this one out of foam
I think it makes me look like a LION, a huge brave LION
The collar makes mom happy because I can't lick so much.
mom is also letting me sleep in her room at night. I have my own bed and everything.

Fattening up Frootbat Friday

Prinnie:

guess what? I have gained a pound and a half this month!
I weigh 6 and a half pounds now.
Mom feeds me constantly and I get baby food meat every day too, and macaroni and cheese too. My tummy is getting better. I can't have any cake or cookies anymore though :-(

Pierro:

Pierro:
Hey kitties happy mancat Monday.
Blizzie was home from kollig this week-end and I got to sniff her stuff
and help her write a long paper
Mom is just happy to have her home!

Now I am pretty tired of all of that activity and sleeping in my cave near the window.
Today daddy drives Blizzie to Washington DC.
She will attend a program learn about her State Department internship in the Spring
We only live about 40 minutes away.

and all of my toys are there. This is my room where I sleep in at night. I am not allowed to run around the house at night, mom believes that I will get into mischief and hurt myself.
I like my room, I have my own stereo and windows and now MY OWN BED!!
I love looking outside, and at night the foxes come out and wander around.
I like to look out my window at night.

Thank you, all of you, for your good wishes and purrs.
I am so happy to be feeling better.
We used to have a great vetlady, Dr S. She was very smart and we loved her.
She packed up and went to Maine to live closer to her family.
So, then we just stayed in this vet practice and sort of changed over to this new vetlady, Dr. E.
Mom is not so impressed with her.
It seems that she has been just grabbing ideas and pills out of thin air, mom paying $ for stuff that just irritated my bowel.
Mom feels we have been around the block and back again, with hindsight, we should have changed vets after Dr. S left. There is a new vet here in Broadvalleylands that mom has heard good things about.
Mom has plenty of medical background (she used to be a nurse) so she looked at my xrays and she is satisfied with what she saw.
Anyway, mom started putting some sprinkles of fiber capsules in my diet and that seems to be helping quite a lot. I am also on a eat all I want diet, it is lovely!! I even get babyfoods.
And my favorite since I was a kitten: macaroni and cheese.

Pierro:
I get to tell everycat the good news.
Prinnie went to the vet on Friday and they only did the x-ray. The x-ray showed that Prinnie has a lot of GAS in her pipes hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa
er-um well, the doctorvet said Prinnie gained 10 ounces, that's a good thing.
The vet and mom too, are very puzzled why Prinnie has tummy troubles for so many months, but perhaps she will get better since she now weighs a wopping 5 pounds 10 ounces!

They did not do a sonogram becuaaaause they did not see or feel any masses on her skinny little tummy. So... as soon as Prinnie got home, she got a nice snack and then she made a perfect POOP

Hey kitties!
I hope all of you are well and happy.
Life has been a blur of activity here and it has been hard to get mom to help me blog, but here I am.

I need heavy duty purrrs for Friday... I have to go to the vetplace and get tortured.
The vet lady wants to do an xray and ultrasound of my tummy to find out why my poops are sometimes really good and most times kind of not so good.
I hate the vetplace. It is the scariest place I have ever been! It smells terrible there and it is loud and I do not allow touching all over just willy nilly!
I am eating really good and after the vet called yesterday to talk to dad about the latest (I was taking a much needed nap) and then daddy consented to bringing me in on Friday, well, he did not even ask me! So, I woke up and started acting all 12 years old-ish and everything, walking around, climbing on to the couch, and meowing a lot and pretending I was just a youngster perky kitty. so now he feels pretty guilty, as he should, for approving for my torture on Friday.
Then mom came home from her walk and dad told her the plan and she AGREED!

Today, I helped mom because helping is what mancats do, right?

She is teaching herself to sew bits of fabric together to make cool stuff.

She likes it but the tricky part is finding all of the pieces I snitched away from her
meeeeoooowwww and bonks for a happy day

ps: Prinnie is on a new pill since Saturday and this morning mom is practically having a party about Prinnie's perfectly formed completely solid poop!!! I think I will make her a lot of poops today!! Moms love poops, I never knew that.
