Frootbat Friday and completely thankful for you

Hi Kitties
Happy Friday!!

This past several weeks has been very difficult for many beans that had to say good-bye to beloved kitties, for some it was quite sudden and a huge shock.

We received this wonderful book as a gift from a special friend in the Cat Blogosphere.

It is a beautiful story and it is very comforting.
It looks like Princess is on the front too
We have read it over many times now. It is a lovely story.
We are very grateful to all of you for your friendship and comfort.
thank you
We feel very blessed and just want you to know that we are also here to help and support all of you too!
I hope you have a headbonking happy week-end!

Whitecat Wednesday

lookie, here is a picture of Prinnie on her very first gotcha day, June 27, 1991.
She was 10 and a half weeks old.

Mom took Caesar and Princess home in a small kitty carrier that she borrowed from
her sweet friend neighbor that lived across from her house.
Mom had not done any "kitten proofing" so the safest place for the kittens was the down stairs bathroom.

They were good kittens and very cute.
It is nice that they had each other.

I hope that today is your best day ever!
mom is home today and she is going to help me visit some blogs

headbonks for a happy day

Mancat Monday

I am a proud mancat to have a blog that Caesar and Prinnie started.

Now I am just me but I am two years old. I think I can have a good blog.

Okay, let's get down to business!
I have a new room!!!!!
Here is my old room. I used to be down the hall far away from mommy I know she couldnot hear me calling her - near Blizzie's room. Remember I had my own cool big bloo bed?

Well, mom took that bed and put it in her and daddy's room on the floor!
She claims there is no insulation above the garage and their sleeping room is cold as Siberia in winter. When we have winter, mom puts all the extra comforters and pillows and my bloo big mattress on the floor in there to keep it warmer, well not around their bed but the other part, the lower part of the room that is over the garage. That is where dad sometimes watches tv and mom has a huge book shelf in there which is really fun to climb on - and knock stuff off too.

Well, mom made my room close to her now. I am not sure but I think this used to be Prinnie and Caesar's room but I am not sure. It looks a lot different.

This is my new room!!!!!

I have all of my stuff in here and my cool radio and my litterbox and all of my mancat toys
and my midnight snacks bowls. just wowie.
I am living like a king!

and I have a really nice heater that is on all night!
mom and dad are shivering in their bed and I am warm and snuggly,
look at all of that snuggly stuff!! I could have a sleep over with my mancat friends.

My new room is closer to mommie, so when daddy opens my door at 6:00 in the morning, I meow 5 times, meeow meeeooowww meow meooow meeeowwww and then I go to mommie right away and I snuggle with her. She loves it.

I hope you have a headbonking first week of January.
It is VERY cold here but we have sunshine.
Mom might go skating today. She did not skate all of December because she was home kissing and loving Prinnie. Her skate friends emailed her and begged her to come to see them soon. She thinks she is brave enough to do that now. She feels stronger than after Caesar's sudden passing which made her cry for a month or more even!!
We still miss Princess. Mom still cries a bit.

Thou hast given so much to me,
Give one thing more,
- a grateful heart;

Not thankful when it pleaseth me,

As if Thy blessings had spare days,

But such a heart whose pulse may be Thy praise.

We wish
God's blessings
to shower on all of your days

this Happy New Year
