Forgetful frootbat Friday

Princess:

here are my two new blankies that mommie got me!
I think I like being spoiled now, more than ever!
this is my all pink one
for down stairs in the people chair
this is my polka dot one up in my own room:

Yes... I have those awardies. I mean it, I will put those up.... soon! I keep forgetttting
. . . . . nom nom nom

Also, I have not had a chance to visit all of your bloggies.
I try to read a few every day, and visit all of you. Mommie says I am so neat and tidy.
The house is noticeably much neater now than when Caesar was here with us.
Caesar was very messy, everywhere and left mancatmesses like this:

So, I am not sure what her excuse is. ...hmmm

I miss him and I love you ~

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar

Princess:
Caesar and I are littermates.

From the very beginning ~~
He was the best brother, such a sweet mancat.
He let me rest my head on him.
I miss doing that.
This is a picture (1991) of when we were 9 weeks old!
click on the pictures to make them bigger!!
look at Caesar's little legs *heeheehaha* *so cute :o)

and sometimes (2007) he liked to rest his head on me.
I miss that too. a lot.

I have received so many wonderful and beautiful awardies over the past few weeks.
I am soo SO honored and happy to have them, wowie thank you!
I have not forgotten them... just my fuzzy brains are not focusing so much.
I am having a ... a little... um, bit of trouble re-umm ...remembering which sweet kitties gave me them *extreme blushing*
I am quite embarrassed about that *blush*
It is getting better and I will put my awardies up soon.
I am so sorry :o(

Thank you everyone for your care and friendship,
the cards and emails.
Your support and kind words mean so much to us.
You give us strength!

White Cat Wordful Wednesday

Princess:
Today is the day. One whole month with out Caesar.
We just can not believe it has been a month.

I do not think we could have gotten this far with out all of you, our kittie friends.
Thank you for loving us.
Thank you so much for being our friends.
We have Caesar's ashes in a box... and the box stays in our room.
See it next to me here?

Caesar's box is in the sunshine during the day and in the moonlight at night.
Here is Caesar's box moved to corner of the windows and I am in my big bloo and pink bed.

Mancat Monday ~Caesar

Princess:
This Wednesday it will be one month that Caesar is gone!
It still seems like only yesterday... we miss him soo much.
Mommie still cries a lot.
Blogging and commenting is still very difficult.

Everything reminds us of our wonderful Caesar.

When it is sunny out, Caesar liked to nap on the eating table in the kitchen.
The eating table always had a nice patch of warm sun from the big window.
He was a gentle and lovable mancat.
>click on this to biggify<

As always, thank you so very much for your love, friendship, purrrs, generosity and care.
Mommie feels very weak, she is still very heart broken.
She still becomes all of a sudden lost in thought about Caesar and everything else just stops.
You kitties have been a great support to us.

Is not to die.

Whitecat Wednesday

Princess:
Here are my curliepants. I like them.
easy wash and dry, a little brushing is all they need.
you can click and make the picture bigger to see my curlieness.

I cannot change the name of this bloggie. Yes, I know Caesar is not here but he is in spirit.
He has to be.... Yes, I keep thinking he will come out from behind the chair and meow happily.
And I will say "hey you, where have you been!?"

Mommie thinks that she will never stop being sad about losing Caesar.

I might not be blogging much. I will read your bloggies though.
I promise.
Blogging and commenting are really hard now.
I can continue to try to do Monday and Wednesday posts.
I think mommie and I just need a break.

Thank you for being our friends.
We really do love your friendship

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar

Even in his youngest kittenhood
Caesar had what it took to be a brave mancat
!
>You can click on it and make it bigger<
Princess:
This is a photograph of us in early June 1991. This photo mommie got from the breederlady.
this is Caesar and me and the all black kitten walking there in the middle is our brother. He stayed with his mommie and daddie when Caesar and I were adopted by our mommie June 27th 1991.

This is what Blizzie says about Caesar when she sees this olde picture.
"This is the most adorable picture. I cannot look at it without screaming with happiness. Look at his puffy muzzle, because he is in 'skunk mode'. And note his splayed paw, ready to swipe at his littermate's tail. Look at his stubby little ears bent forward they are so tiny!
My favorite part of his kitten body would have to be his chunky little tummy look how tiny he is and his hind legs, and his little tail. Prinnie looks like she's on a trail--! sniffing!"

This photo was taken almost 17 years ago!

To look backward for a while
is to refresh the eye, to restore it,
and to render it the more fit
for its prime function of looking forward.

Whitecat Wednesday or Thursday

Princess:
I certainly hope every cat is doing well.
Here, I am doing wonderful. My bloodworks came back and I am okay... I do need to continue on the Hills K/D but also I just have subq's one day per week. That is not bad.
Mommie went to the vet place and got me a sample of some different k/d canned foods. I tried the Purina one this afternoon and it was deeelish!

Mommie is doing okay. She misses Caesar. She cannot change this so she will just try every day to be brave and live happy and think of Caesar. She found some cute pictures of me and Caesar when we were kittens. She should scan them.

The storms yesterday that caused lots of damage, deaths and sadness in the south, are passing not so ferociously through Virginia right now. It is really windy here.

thank you for being our friends.

Some things about Caesar

Princess:

Caesar always liked to climb on to the fridge and up to the top of the cabinets. It was a scary climb for him but he refused to believe that he should stop. Caesar liked to spend cold days up there because there is a heat vent up there.

Here are a few of many names that we called Caesar:

1. Holstein Kitty
2. Cowboy
3. Skunkboy
4. Mr. Peepee
5. Beeberboy
6. Loverboy
7. Love tiger
8. Softieboy
9. Two-tone tiger
10. Caesar puppy
11. Puppy guybert
12. Tigerpoos

Caesar really did not care what you called him. He was always happy and lovable.
Our house is really quiet now. Caesar used to be quite loud. He loved to meeyowl all over the house and he loved to make thundering elephants all by himself.

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,

I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again.

the vet visit on Saturday

Princess:
Saturday morning I had to go to the vet. I tried to remember to hide, but really, I was so sleepy from being awake all night every night the past few days checking on the beans, looking for and calling Caesar and dozing in my various beds... I just forgot to hide!

So... suddenly, mommie picked me up and shoved me into the prison box.

Blizzie came with me. she sat with me in the back seat of the driving mashine. I was really scared and worried.

Everyone at the vetplace says I am beautiful...

The vet lady was nice.. even though I did not want to get out of that prison box. I was worried and very very afraid. Then mommie pulled me out! They carried me back to the torture room and stabbed me with pins and gave me some hurties. Then the vet lady took me back to the room with mommie and Blizzie.

The vetlady says everyone at the vet place misses Caesar because he was so friendly and cheerful, always talking with everyone and never afraid.

So, the vetlady gave mommie a special thing to plug into the wall to help me be calm and also some more Epakitin supplement and some powders for my stiffness and some powders to make me calm at night so I do not keep calling Caesar to come upstairs because it is time to sleep in the dark.

The vetlady said my heart was good and the tests will come back next week and then she will call when that comes in. She says I only need subq's one day a week... unless she finds anything wrong with my kidneys, like Caesar had, so that is pending.

When we got home, Oh I was really hungry and soooo tired. I snarfed a whole bunch of crunchies and jumped in my cozy nest for a very long nappie.

When Caesar used to come home from the vet he was always proud to tell everyone about his adventure.

..... we really miss Caesar. We are still not used to not having him around.
Mommie still cries at least one time a day but she feels better afterward. It is almost like the sadness builds up and then she explodes. She keeps reminding herself that Caesar knew that he was loved by soooo many and especially mommie and me. His heart just stopped and he went very quietly and no pain.
Still... we miss him. This new life without him is very uncomfortable.
Mommie carries pictures around with her. It makes her feel better.

I will do another post about Caesar this week.

Thank you for being our friends.

Whitecat Wednesday or Thursday...

Princess:
yeah, that works.

Today Miral and I have our picture at The Red Carpet Buzz.
You can see us. Miral is a really nice cornish friend.
We went shopping yesterday at the Cornish Closet, an exclusive boutique for - um, pretty girls and we found our beautiful dresses.
I love my dress. We are pretty girls.

Here is one of my noo beds.
I love this one. It is pink and fuzzy, surrounded by my bloo blankie.
I love it.

if you click on this picture
You can see me really good and close up.

mommie is moody here and she has been very tired.
sometimes we feel like visiting bloggies but we don't comment. I am sorry about that.
We love reading your bloggies.

Blizzie is home from kollij for a few days. yeah, she gotted an A in her accounting class (j-term) even though she hated the class. mommie and daddy say they never got an A in any class they hated..... Blizzie is a sooper brain.
Oh... She is taking me to the vetlady on Saturday at 11:30 for a check up and teeth cleaning and evaluation. I am not happy to hear this news. I feel fine.
hmmmm - I should hide... where should I hide?????

I love you friends.
Once again, thank you so much for your kindnesses and caring.

Caesar's Mancat Monday

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal.

~originally for Mancat Monday January 21, 2008
Caesar:

Happy Monday Everycat!
check out my curlie furrs

Being a mancat, means taking over the tent so I can do mancat stuff.

For example... spread out and have a purrrfectly wondermous nap
you can click on these pictures to see my hugeness!

~Lord Chesterfield

Princess:
Thank you everycat and bean for your love and prayers.
Your sweet and encouraging words have provided hope for healing for us.

Blizziekins did come home for the week-end and it was the greatest thing for mommie.... and me, and Blizzie too.
She needed to come home. (she went back to kollij Sunday PM to take her accounting exam, a class that she hates despite the fact that she will receive an A for the final grade)
Mommie is actually eating again and getting some rest.
Thank you so much for your caring friendship.

If you don't mind... from time to time... we might share a few personal tributes here for our dear Caesar. He is greatly missed. We think it might help us heal and accept this new life we are forced to carry on without him, his headbuts, his happy meows, his butt on fire racing around even with his stiff oldman legs, sleeping on the kitchen table, and just generally getting into everything and ontop of everything. . He was such a playful, affectionate and attentive boykitty. We have many stories that we have remembered this past week, that we would like to share some time.

We found such absolutely beautiful tributes on many of your
bloggies and we copied them and mommie printed a few out, they were so stunningly lovely and thoughtful.
We are comforted by your care.

~ Thursday

When you are sorrowful
look again in your heart,
and you shall see
that in truth
you are weeping for that
which has been your delight.

~Kahlil Gibran
Princess:
We are reading your bloggies. They are delightful and bring us comfort.
We absolutely adore all of you, your care, concern and love.
Thank you.

Rosemary:
We are healing. slowly. or no, maybe not. I am crying and doing really nothing else.

Our home is sooo quiet without our loud gentle loving constantly purring tiger. Caesar was amazing. We called him the love tiger, but really Caesar was something more like a faithful friendly puppy dog.

what happened? We do not know, but I suspect with his failing kidneys and his heart murmur he might have caught a little bug on Saturday that went unnoticed. He was quite happy, and eating and being fairly active all day Saturday as we were home the entire day, however in the evening, he did not come to my bed as usual and say good-night and snuggle. He stayed in his little bed with Prinnie in their paradise room... and he just went so quietly in his sleep.

I am devastated. I lost my little boy.

Princess is very very strong. She is very independent and self assured.
I have made her about 5 cozy beds around the house. The one above is a new one. I made her a cozy nest of blankies on the couch and she jumped over to this chair (see above photo) and gave me this look, "could you move that stuff over here? I want to camp out over here today. Could you hurry up too?"
She is still calling Caesar in the night and we are going to her and comforting her and I slept with her the last two nights. She seemed very pleased to have me near.

All of this is so hard.
Almost too much to bear.
thank you for continued prayers.

Princess: We love you ~ thank you for loving us. We are hoping Blizzie might comehome for the week-end. Daddie could get her from the kollij.

Tuesday update

Princess:

We are overwhelmed with your sincere loving attention and thoughts. Thank you for this. We really need it. Mommie has not been well. She won't eat or sleep.
I cannot find Caesar!?!
Mommie made me a bed with Blizzie's blankets from her bed and put them near mommies bed. I woke up many times throughout the night to go find Caesar and tell him it was time to sleep with me in the dark. I can not find him. mommie and dad got up many times through out the night to help me find him, and then they would pet me and tell me how they loved me so much.

Rosemary:
Yesterday we brought Caesar's still quiet body to our wonderful and very very caring vet. We had planned to have him cremated with their services located in Western Pennsylvania which would take two weeks, but this morning I woke up wrought with worry. I could not imagine Caesar's body rumbling along in a truck over the hills and valleys through Virginia and Maryland and then into Pennsylvania.
We will take Caesar's casket from the vet and bring it to a local Family Pet cremation place here in town. Hubby spoke with them. They seem very caring. I feel this is a much more comforting situation for us and for Caesar's blessed body.
I cannot describe to you the Caesar sized hole in my heart and what it is doing to me.
Suffice to say that my husband has been doing everything, taking care of all of the details. He has put his grief on hold. Caesar and daddy shared a beautiful and special bond being the men in the house.

I can just tell you that after having this beautiful and most generous and gentle tiger that stuck to me like velcro for 17 years... this is the most very most incredible loss for all of us. I am still in a state of utter disbelief!

Please pray for Blizzie in Pennsylvania at college. She is suffering greatly and will come home on the 30th. Then we will take good care of her.

Thank you for for your love. It is an overwhelming comfort.
I love all of you, ...and Princess. . . we will take good care of her.
Thank you for taking care of us.
Your sympathies and condolences and caring, the Mancat Monday and other beautiful tributes are such an unbelievable comfort. I tried to visit all of you. You are such incredible friends to surround us with this. We feel bathed in your love and all of you are oh so loved by me.

Caesar our Tuxie Love Tiger

Princess:
Today Caesar did not wake up.

I slept with him last night...
and then, God sent his sweetest Angel to take him to the rainbow bridge.
Mommie is very sad. she can not stop crying!

The beans were going to go to kollij today to visit Blizzie, but only daddy will go.
He has to sign some special papers for Blizzie.
Mommie will stay home with me.

Caesar our handsome Tuxie love tiger
