Friday Frootbats

Miles: Happy FROOTBAT Friday!!!!

Pierro: Thanks for all of the purrs dear kittypals.

I am truly bonkful.
My heart test is not until next Friday. Mom made the appointment, and she wanted to have the best doctor look at me, and he will be there next week.
Meantime... have a fun day and a sunny deeelightbonkbonkful week-end

There is a mousie that lives outside of this window.

Mancat Monday

Miles:

Last week was vet week. Pierro went to the vet on Tuesday and I went on Friday. Mom took us to a new vet that is closer to our house and we saw a nice doctor named Doctor Breezy.
Doctor Breezy gave us our rabbie rooster shots and checked us all over.

Doctor Breezy told mom that Pierro's heart is mumbling,

so he has to get a bunch of really expensive tests like a ekg and an echocardiogram. He has to visit some special heart doctors at a special vet place and get his heart beat checked.

Oh boy, I love my brother so much!

Pierro:
Thanks for telling my whole life story, Miles. MOL.

You are a great little brother.
Mom has not made the appointment yet, but she is going to do that today.
She is worried and sad, but hopefully they will say I am healthy and I have a good heart.

Happy Bonk Bronkie Monday

Monday Mancats

Miles: This week-end was a busy one for mancats.
We are thankful for Monday!! It is going to be a great day!

Pierro: Miles and I had to check everything the past two days

Miles: It is good to check the food supply

and what mom is making with so much noise in the kitchen

Pierro: Where are the warm blankies and towels?

should I help fold these?

Miles: of course we have a meeting on the stairs,
to share gathered information

Frootbat Friday

Miles:
Today... finally sun! I am bronkful!!

Pierro and I got really bored with so much rain - and no sun - the past few days.
We got very wild and naughty
running around the house,
bouncing off of every thing,
knocking big stuff over.

Mom said "no no boys" too many times but she was not angry
We even made daddy laugh a lot.

Pierro: It was fun -- when there was no sun.

Today is a sunny bonkbonk day
Miles and I will be naughty anyway - unless the blue birds distract us.

life will love you back.

Monday Mancats ~ training mom

Pierro:
Good morning kitties
first off,
I must say a little tribute
to my mancat mentor, Mickey.
He was the paradigm for mancats across the earth.
When I was just a little canmat-in-braining,
he was the one I looked up to, the example I tried to follow to mancatdom.

BIG Bonks to you dear friend ~~ Rest in Peace.

Today I want to share with you the training program
we have been working on with mom.
Every day she is learning the proper techniques to
assist us in our grooming and comfort.

Miles:
Mom is learning to help me with my tail

She holds it gently so I can clean it

this way, I know she is viewing
how carefully we take good care of our furs

I am glad she learns quickly
now with a quick sniff...

I can get back to my nap

Pierro:
I have been teaching mom to quietly enter my blooblankie cave
with the softie scrubbie firmly in her hand

Then she can begin rubbing my chin

then a little over my eyes

and finishing up, gently on my head.

Miles:
That is it, kitties.
Take note, this training requires daily guidance
and consistent practice.
Good luck and bronks for a happy day!

Treat everyone with politeness,
even those who are rude to you
- not because they are nice,
but because you are.

Friday Frootbats

Pierro:
Thank you to all of you, dear kittypals, for the great compliments on our boxfort.

We are very proud to have such an industrious mom servant that actually makes a feeble effort to ensure our happiness with small gestures of creativity

Miles: This was a busy week.... Blizzie came home from spring break... sick! she even smelled bad!

she brought a tummy virus home. She sits in bed and drinks gatorade
and eats pasta and dry bagels. Mom gives her zantac 75 to make her tummy stop being angry.

Pierro: It is going to be a great week-end full of sunshine and bonks

Mancat Monday

Miles:
Hi kitties!

Mom has been doing some maintenance to our boxfort
She made some additions and repaired some parts, that we have trampled; she made them a little more sturdy
so, today I am going to show you some details of our mancat boxfort.

It comes in two sections...

mom made it that way so she can carry it around the house.
She never does that though, but if she had to....

the front and back go together perfectly, and mom made a bloo mark with a pencil to show where to line up the front and back boxes so the rooms in our basement are easy to move around in.

the back half is lighter...
mostly because there is no wood or heavy stuff attached

no that is not a poopie in the middle
it is that longlost mouse!
Mom says if you want to get your servant to make you a boxfort, they should get clean boxes from a moving supplies place.
Our mom is always making stuff.

Everything is glued together with a very hot glue gun.

When she is doing that, daddy has to snoopervise us, -- or mom does it when we are konked out (after completing many hours monitoring the status around our huge domain here, which is exhausting!!)

mom also found a piece of board in our peeple dungeon/basement that used to belong to one of the girl beans' high school locker shelves.

It sturdied up our front second floor tunnel, which was getting a bit saggy from our heavy mancat trampling. Here you can see we also have plenty of closet space!

Right now, Pierro is in his office, well, one of his offices... :-p

Pierro:
Greetings Kitties!

Welcome to our box fort. Miles and I work and play in this a lot.
We especially like to play in it when it is dark in the room and mom and dad are trying to watch some BBC movie from Netflix.

On the side of my office here, I have a port hole
This round thing mom got from her new blender packaging....
she killed her olde blender.
I can stick my head in it -- um, if I want

Miles: this is my special office.

Oh yes, Pierro and I share offices many times.
Mom just put this new penthouse cover on.
this used to be open, but I like the coziness of this tunnel cover.

I hope you enjoyed the boxfort tour.
Happy Monday. We hope you have bronkie sunshine

Pierro:

I would like say that Miles and I are bonking and purring
for Mickey and his family today. Mickey is feeling sick.
He is the best mancat and we love him so much

Here he is relaxing.
He is the epitome of gallantry and a role model for all mancats!

Great tranquility of heart
is his

who cares for neither praise
nor blame.
