TBT here - Thanks for the advice on the box fort guys! I have a glue gun (and a small metal tray to set it in while not in use), and I have that blue tape. So I'm good on that.
I didn't think about making a box fort in 2 parts, so that was REALLY good advice. I didn't think about THAT! Just goes to show that cat-advice is ALWAYS valuable.
I hope to show pictures in a month.
