It is so hot in Furrginia, everything outside is boiling hot
but we are cool and comfy in our house - even laying in the sun on my bloo blankie is bonkbonk delightful!
Tomorrow is going to be a 100,000,000ยบ outside and mom said she is going to relax on the couch and let us finally have some time to not only just read your bloggies, but we get to comment!! (oh my have we stooped so low to appreciate the tiniest of efforts lately...)

~and think about stuff... for instance: with this extreme heat, and the stress it is having on our "electrical power grid" what will happen when everybean is plugging in their expensive electric car?
Has anybean thought about that?

We've been reading about the terrible heat in may parts of the US. Here it is raining and seriously cool (sweater and jacket weather for #1 when she goes out)

Hmm, maybe governments at all levels could invest in better public transit, thus eliminating the need for so many beans to have cars. Our mom certainly gets around fine without one, though it's definitely more time-consuming the convenience! :-)

Isn't that crazy, you are melting and we have to put the heating on (or nearly !)
We hope this heat cools down for you all soon - it must make you feel exhausted. Here in the UK summer mum has put the central heating on for an hour a couple of times this week when the hot temperatures haven't even reached 60F in the middle of the day! Has the ice melted on your mom's skating rink?

It is furry furry hot here in Ohio, too. I'm staying inside and drinking lots of water. While I have the AC set on 79-80, It pops son every now and then. It's not so bad (I'm having hot flashes anyway).

Stay cool! I think that electric cars mostly charge at night when there is less use on the grid--especially as they get to go further and further on the batteries.

It is uber hot here too. Mommy hopes we get back to visiting our friends soon. It has been crazy here and only sometimes in a good way. We feel so out of touch!

We are also sorry to hear about your mommy's back. My mommy had to have surgeree for a hernyated disc. Not cool. That was before me. Actually, that wouldn't be bad for her to do again. All that laying around and kitty pet time. Of course all she'd do is whine so that would be annoying to me. Potato PotAto

Yeah, it was brutal here in Merryland too. 106 (heat index 116!). Good idea ta stay cool inside.
BTW, abiut the electric grid. We lost power for over an hour each Fri an Thurs. It sure warms up fast inside without the A/C! And NO air movement...
