Mancat and Canmat-in-Braining Monday

Pierro:

Happy BonkMonday every kitty
Today I will tell you about how I am teaching Miles about climbing on the railing
and other high up places
Miles, this is a thing that you are not allowed to do.

Mom says this is very dangerous.

You could fall very far down and break your paw

If you do this, mom will squirt you with the green bottle
and say NO NO PIER- ...er MILES!!

you should get down quickly and act contrite.

Miles: ohhhh O-kay Pierro, you are so big and smart

Pierro: now this place we can climb. It is safe to go up here Miles!

Miles:
I love it up here!

Miles: Ooof, how about this room?

This is pretty nice too - kind of cozy.

Happy BronkMonday

Opportunity is missed by most people
because it is dressed in overalls
and looks like work.

Oh, I used to climb the stair banister all the time. I don't go up there any more. I guess because I am older now. Harley never tried that, because he is too big!

Pierro, you are like a tightrope walker, If I was your mom, I"d be very scared to see you way up there!

I'd rather open my cupboard and see Miles hiding in there. Have a fun Monday, and just climb in safe places.

We stopped breathing while we were looking at your high rail act Pierro - if you must do it get your mom to make you a little parachute to wear. You mustn't encourage Miles to do silly things like that.
Miles - we think the kitchen cupboard looks the best place for you - who knows you might find a hidden treat in there!!

Pierro, Mama says she maybe lost some years of her life watching you up there! Miles, I like to go in the cabinet and sit on the plates. Mama doesn't like that so much. MOL

Oh noes...a kitty high-wire act! And without a safety net!! We are not sure you should try out for the 'Flying Wallendas' without pet insurance first!!

Ps: Mr Orange Alert---stick to cupboards, ok...

When we were fostering 5 years ago, I adopted out two 6 mo old brothers to a guy who I saw fairly regularly. Buddy and Charles. A couple of unique cats.

He told me that these two would run up to the loft which overlooked the family room, would get between the railing posts and jump down onto the couch. Had to be 6-7 feet.

I think your Human should rig up some kind of net below that scary high railing and then you and Miles could climb on it all the time! I mean, trapeze artists get them, so why not you boys?
