the statement of progress here is that I am quite well aware that there is a loud kitten in my old room.
I am not sure what I think about this kitten.
I hissed at him two times when he was near the door.
Mom says we are going to go slow, because she thinks I am a scaredy kitty
I-I-I just think it is good to be mindful of which kitty was here first.
Stuff like that...

Everybuddy needs time to adjust to new brothers and sisters. We know that Mr Miles will get a few more hisses while the introductions are made.

Mewmie said she thinks since Pierro doesn't hiss at his pawrents even when they smell like 'kitten' that means Pierro isn't too upset by the introoder.

Ferst of all there is an award for yoo both at our place today. Yoors is 'cos we already know and love yoo Pierro, and Miles is 'cos we'd like to welcome him into our circle of friends.
We hissed at each other at ferst ~ but then we became best buddies. It just takes time!

Well, of course, you have to get things sorted out, don't you, Pierro! You definitely are the BIG brother here. But that also means you will be Miles' hero and have to take good care of him. Even though it's annoying at times,it really is lots of fun!

Pierro, here's my advice. New kittens can be very scary and irritating but then you get used to them and then they become part of the family and then you are quite glad they live with you and then you miss them when they aren't around and then they become like your best friend ever. That's okay Pierro, a few hisses are just telling Miles that you're the big brother so he will remember that when you meet. We hiss at each other ocassionally, then forget all about it.

Pierro if you practice your 'innocent' face while you are waiting for Miles to meet you you can use it to your advantage later on. You see if something gets knocked over use your innocent face and you won't get told off and Miles won't probably get told off either cos he's a baby.

It's nice to take it slow and great to see how well the little guy is adjusting! When Cricket came to us (Nov. 8th) mom just carried her in the house and put her on the living room floor. We smelled her and Pandora was the only one who hissed, but shockingly, Cricket just made herself and her Tortie~Co attitude, right at home. She said, I'm hear to stay, deal with it. And, that was that.
