Pierro's Gotcha Day

Pierro:
today is my gotcha day.

Last year, in Frebruary, mom was looking in the newspaper at all of the pets for sale just because she loves to do that. She sees those ads and hopes that those pets find a home. Then she saw an ad for Cornish Rex kittens and a webpage. There, mom found four kittens. She fell in love with ME IMMEDIATELY.

She told me it was love at first sight.

So, she would go and visit this web page many times, and look at me.

Then one day she decided to email the breeder guy, Dimitri. she asked him about his kittens. He said he still had kittens and she wanted to go see them.... she really just wanted to go see me. So she and Blizzie drove to his house (about 20 minutes away)and she met the kittens.
WE were pretty afraid of her, but mom was loving me.
She went home and asked the vet lady, Dr. Sasseville
One year ago TODAY, my mom and dad came and got me and my brother Primus and brought us home. I was really afraid, but Primus was very happy and friendly. He was zippy and jumpy and happy. I hid in little places to be safe and quiet. *sigh*

The next day, mom realized that two kittens was not a good idea. So, she had to take Primus back. This was not a difficult decision because she fell in love with me. She thought Primus was very cute and silly but she was loving me very very much and treating me like a baby and everything.
Now I like to help mom every day.

Dad works at home and he plays with me when he is not having a big meeting on the phone or writing an important paper


I have a lot of toys and I love to play with mousies a lot!

I have about one hundred of these mousies all over the house.
I have my very own room to sleep in at night with a radio and toys and piles of blankies.

I only have to stay in there so mom can get a couple hours of sleep,

then I come to her in the morning and wake her up.

look , I still have my anaconda. mom makes me keep it in my room now...


So, now I have been here a year and I am very happy

I think Prinnie is happy to have me as a little brother

I am so happy to have all of you as my friends
