Whitecat Wednesday

Princess:
Here are my curliepants. I like them.
easy wash and dry, a little brushing is all they need.
you can click and make the picture bigger to see my curlieness.

I cannot change the name of this bloggie. Yes, I know Caesar is not here but he is in spirit.
He has to be.... Yes, I keep thinking he will come out from behind the chair and meow happily.
And I will say "hey you, where have you been!?"

Mommie thinks that she will never stop being sad about losing Caesar.

I might not be blogging much. I will read your bloggies though.
I promise.
Blogging and commenting are really hard now.
I can continue to try to do Monday and Wednesday posts.
I think mommie and I just need a break.

Thank you for being our friends.
We really do love your friendship
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love,
the things you are,

the things you never want to lose.

I am keeping the picture of Tookie on my blog for always. Our loved ones are always with us, it's just hard to feel them around sometimes. I think keeping your blog name the way it is is a lovely tribute Princess. I wish I could give you and your mommy a hug. It's so hard isn't it? I try to be happy, but when I'm alone I still cry. It's been eight months and my heart still aches for my most beloved kitty. Hugs and Soft Purrs,

Tell your mom the sadness will last until suddenly it doesn't hurt anymore. Only nice souvenirs remain. But nobody can tell when this will happen. It took me 3 years before I was even able to talk about my cat Max ! It's good that your mom can use your blog and tell about her grief !

Oh Dear sweet princess,

why would you want to change the name of your bloggie? As you said Caesar is here in spirit and he'll always be there to watch over you like the little angel he was in lifetime.

Momma says she knows what your mommie menat by saying she'll never stop being sad about losing Caesar. That's what momma feels about Paul too!
They'll be always there in our hearts and minds even if their bodies are gone!

You should definitely keep Caesar's name on the blog. He will always be with you. We understand if you need a break from blogging. Mommy still misses Vincent very much. It's been almost 2 years and she still cries sometimes. But they are always with us when they go. In our dreams, and late at night, and out of the corner of our eye, we can still see them.

Oh Prinnie, it was so lovely of you to drop by yesterday for a little tea and treats! :) It meant so very much to me... You are such a lovely ladycat and Caesar was the kindest of mancats - I truly hope my kittens find such loving homes as you have! :) Take time to love your Momma and I will purr that you are both alright - it takes as long as it takes to heal and can not be rushed...

Thinking of you and sending many purrs,
Isis

i don't fink you should change the name of your blog either...you and Caeser come as a package, even if you now live in different places.

it is so hard missing someone...the pain will eventually subside but when we miss someone we can't help but feel sad or wistful, even with time.

take some time out if you need it my friends, you won't be forgotten and we look forward to when you feel strong enough to return more regularly - you are such a lovely lovely friend x

You have very cute curliepants!

It is normal and natural to feel sadness, even for a long time. My Mommie still gets a pang in her heart when she thinks about her cat Haiku, and that was over 20 years ago.

Every time we think about Caesar we feel sadness in our hearts too ~ we understand how tuff it must be for you guys who lived with that sweet love tiger for so long ~ so many memories and images must flash through your mind daily as you go about your daily lives ~ we fink you should retain the name of the blog the way it is - so sweet - 'Caesar and Princess's Happy Place' - we love you guys and will always be with you no matter how often you blog or visit!
Lots of love and purrs from us at the SnowForest clan :)

no you should not change the name of your blog. Our mommy still gets all cry-ie when she thinks of Ralphie (5 years) and Trixie and Norton (1 1/2 years) and she knows how hard it is - it's devastating. Just let your mommy know that we are here for her to lean on and a shoulder for her to cry on if she needs it.

Dear Miss Prinnie curly pants,
I'd never imagine that you would change the name of this blog. Caesar is still there with you - he's right there in your heart.
Tell your Mommy that my Mommy thinks of her Ones Who Came Before and still feels her heart ache, but she also smiles - I hope that when your Mommy is ready she can smile sometimes too.
We'll watch for new posts, but we understand.
Happy Valentine's day!

Miss Princess...how beautiful you look in your curlie pants! We think it's wonderful to keep Caesar's name alive and well on your bloggie. What better way to pay tribute to him. We know it is furry hard on your Mom right now. My Mom has lost some of dearly beloved woofies and she said it took a furry long time for the tears to stop and even now she can get all misty eyed about them. It's natural for your Mom, just give her lots of head butts and purrs.

Happy Balantines....

We don't think you should ever change your blog name! Caesar will most certianly be there with you. Our animal communicator says that the spirits of those who came before often visit us from the Bridge. Mommy still feels her old woofies.

I think you should all take the time you need to heal and you have to do it your way. We understand.

No, your Mom will never stop being sad about Caesar. Ever. My maid will never stop being sad and crying about Anastasia. There was a story on npr these days about a man who lost his Dad to a heart attack when he was 16. And his then coach at school told him: "You lost your father, you will never get over it. But you will get used to it." I think this is true. My maid is not quiet used to it (it is almost 6 month since Anastasia died) but the periods that she functions with being used to it are getting longer and longer......
How are you doing, Princess? I still miss Anastasia - I am not as sad as my humans..... but I have Emil and he really helps me!
I am sending purrs your way!
Karl

The Cat Realm said...

Do not change the name of your blog! The fact that Caesar is at the bridge does not change the fact that this blog is Caesar's and Princess's happy place! And as you might have noticed - Anastasia is in our blog header too!
