Mancat Monday

Miles: Mancat Monday greetings and bronks kitties
We are having a little bit of innernets troubles here
since the big booming windy storm on Friday night

Pierro:
our connection has been bonkietouch and go
We are using daddy's phone innernets
and it took a long time just to get this one photo
of Miles and me onto our mancat blog today

Frootbat Friday ~helpers

Pierro:
Our mom has been bonkbonkbusy all week packing all of Blizzie's stuff.

Miles: Well, Pierro and I decided that we would help
because we are great helpers all the time.

Blizzie lives far away subleasing her friend's apartment,
while the friend served her reserve duty in Afghanistan.

Pierro: As always, I think mom is really happy
that we are around to snoopervise. look at this stuff!

After this big move, mom said she will have
time to help us bonk around and visit blogs all day and night.

Miles: Mom can pack me
and I will be a great surprise!
Blizzie is going to have a lot of bronkie stuff at her apartment.

It is far more impressive
when others discover your good qualities
without your help.

Mancat Monday

Miles: Once upon a time a long long time ago, after WW 2,

Pierro: These two people met at a Young Christians Groop
in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
They did not know each other but they got to be best friends
And on Joon 25, 1947, they got married.
Miles: This is our mom's mom and daddy.
Now they live in Annapolis Maryland.

Pierro: There was not a lot of sugar or flour available after the war to make a weddingcake, and our gramma's best girlfriends saved up their very own ration cards to buy enough of these things to make a cake for them!
This is their wedding picture

Miles: gramma's wedding dress is made of beautiful velvet, so pretty
Pierro: and today they celebrate 65 bonkbonk years together.

Our mom is very proud and happy about that.

Miles: Yesterday, Mom and daddy abandoned us and went to their house and
our mom made a bronkie party for them!

A wedding anniversary
is the celebration of love, trust,
partnership, tolerance and tenacity.
The order varies for any given year.

Frootbat Friday

Pierro:
I am enjoying a sunny bloo sky bonkbonk day here
sitting in my smaller window office. It is great to watch the birdies

Miles: Today I have a huge stack of kitty spreadsheets (under the blankie)
to look over, here at the satellite office.
I will be bronking all day!

no really, all day!
Pierro is on birdie patrol,
and I am dealing with calculations.

Pierro:
Don't worry, he gets paid overtime
A life spent making mistakes
is not only more honorable,
but more useful
than a life spent
doing nothing.

Frootbat Friday

Miles:
Pierro, what are you bronkie doing?
yuck ewwwie yuck is mom rubbing your teeth with the chicken glop!!!

Pierro:
Yep Miles. It tastes bonk yumyum

and mom lets me lick the glop off of the fuzzy stick
after she rubs my teeth and gumms

Miles: You are very good Pierro

I do not like that fuzzy stick and I do not like getting my teeth rubbed with glop.
When we are done getting abused with the fuzzy stick,
we can relax here at the bronkie sunny window

Happy Friday!

Frootbat Friday & Memorial Day edition!

Have a super delightful Memorial Day week-end every kitty and bean!
On this Memorial occasion we will remember one man in particular

that we loved so much.

Our favorite man, Sargie. He was such a great and gentle man.
We bonkie loved him and we miss him
We will never ever forget him, and we are just so honored to have known him.
Here he is with his beeyootiful lady Missie Bee

whatta guy!
Pierro:
Happy bonkbonk Friday today is the day that we need to tell you that we will not be blogging for all of next week because of the big wedding next Friday!!

I know, it is horrible and terrible!

Miles: mom and dad made their bedroom into a really a fun bronkie adventure park for me and my brofur so when the family people come to our house we will be safe.

There is a huge sunny window in their bathroom and all of our toys are in their bronkie tub!! And right now my huge tunnel is also right in front of mom's dresser

Pierro:
Mom is just really anxious about people coming to the house
and leaving the front door open.
I think if we got outside and got lost, she would go insane.

Miles: we will be back in bloggieland on Joon 8 at the latest... maybe Joon 4 if we can get our paws mom's compooter
dear kitty pals:
bronks and bonks
and thanks huge crunchie sack loads for not getting crabby
about us not visiting any of you lately...

Here is a warmhearted wedding thought from Robert Fulghum,
as noted in his book: True Love.
We're all a little weird.
And life is a little weird.
And when we find someone whose weirdness
is compatible with ours,
we join up with them
and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness
- and call it love
- true love.

My Gotcha Day is today!

Miles: that's me^ circa 2010
Remember a long time ago when I came to this house to live?
I had to come a week later because I had some tummy troubles...

I have the best big brother.

Pierro is my best pal!
It took a long time to grow up like a big schoolbu-, er, mancat.

My dad is fun, and my mom is boss (it is just because dad forgets the rules)
I have two sisfurs that come over a lot with their friends.

Today I am hoping you can have some nip, engage in frenzied racing around your house, and then have a nap in the sun to help me celebrate my Gotcha Day!

bronks dear pals
9 days until the big wedding!

Sometimes, we need a few people in our lives
who will calmly call our bluff.

She drinks straight from the bottle.
