Way back Wednesday

Pierro:
today I can show you a pair of pictures of Caesar the softie, mommies helper boy.
I never knew Caesar, he went to Rainbow bridge January 20 2008. Mom will never forget that day, but she really likes to remember the good times, 16 - almost 17 years of tuxie silliness with Caesar.

Caesar loved Pepperidge Farm fishie crackers

look at his paws making ::air biscuits::

Wow, he was a big gentle tiger.

Mom says I am a tiny gentle tiger.

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
Hi kitties
Happy Monday

Mom is washing stuff today and when it comes out of the dryer, I check the clean laundry. It smells so great.

It is clean mom!

mom needs me and I am always available to assist her... except when I get stuck in warm laundry

Pierro:
Happy Frootbattie Friday.
Today I am going to watch the snow melt
I love sunshine and yesterday I saw two birdies in my yard.
I think they miss me.

Well, I thought Wayback Wednesday would be bonkie fun, but mom

Mancat Monday

Hi kitties
Today is a sunny morning and I am enjoying this yellow blankie in the sunny window.
This is one of my greatest mancat postures.
I think I could be the centerfold in Mancat Magazine . . .

We are getting MORE snow this afternoon and tonight!!
This is all fine and well, however...

MOM and DAD are getting tired of trying to FIND places TO PUT IT!!
So today it is my mancat job to let mom and dad know that they should just lay around and forget about it.
We can just pretend we live in Switzerland!

moo mooooo

This is a picture of mommy when she was a tiny girl
living in Switzerland.
She is the cutie in the red clothes. (I am taking pleasure in those stylin' plaid hosen)
The lovely girl in bloo is mommie's oldest sister, Dolley. (you must click to biggify this magnificent antique photo. Dolley is an angel now, she really looked like one when she was a little girl In the background is gramma bean, aunt Carla bean [in the lampshade hat] and mom's wild little brother, Johnny, behind Dolley. We do not see sister Joyce bean. She must be wandering around somewhere with grampa bean)
Dolley is in heaven now for ten years. She was going to be 59 this month.
What a sad thing. Mommie misses her so much.
Sometimes mom feels angry that Dolley is not around to be silly with.
They used to love being very silly and laughing A LOT together.
*sigh*

bonkies to all of you for a snappy day!!!

here are three funny quotes I found. They made mom laugh =D
I will share them with you,
so you can have a bonkie haha ha too:

I was just thinking, if it is really religion

they sure must turn atheists in the wintertime.

Wayback Wednesday

Pierro:
I like this: Wednesday can sometimes be wayback Wednesday.
I was not around wayback then when dinosaurs roamed the earth and Caesar and Princess roamed this house.
Mom and I found some photos from way back. I will share them, and mom will tell you about them.
this is one of mom's favorite:

two healthy happy kitties relaxing in their sunny room
look how chubby Princess was then haha
Caesar and Princess were snugglemates.
This photo is probably from 2003.
Caesar and Princess were 12 years old :-)

I hope you have a super great headbonkbonk Wednesday.
We are getting more snow here in Northern Virginia.

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
Yep, we got a lot of snow. Our fence just about disappeared!

On Wednesday before the storm (old snow)

during the storm: taken from inside the house
on Saturday morning! look, our fence got tiny!!

The good thing is, mommie is stuck in the house so I can play with her, and daddy too, and help them do things.
mom took her mixer out of this cabinet and baked oatmeal cookies
yeah, she is kind of weird, she hangs pictures inside the cabinet doors sometimes
I helped her clean out this really messy cabinet
it was so crowded, I could hardly walk around in here!

As the mancat, mom needs me the most. a lot.

Pierro:
I will be here laying in the sunshine.
The big car machine is packed up with Blizzie's stuffs (a lot of shoes and dresses and hangers and books and papers) and she is moving to Arlington
for her internship in Washington DC.

Whitecat Wednesday

Pierro
another post about our sweet whitecat Princess.

~click to bigify her beauty~
*sigh* she was sooooo beautifulllll
mom and I know she had a good wonderful happy long long life
but

we miss her beauty and her curls
her stamping demanding paws
and I miss chasing her around

I hope everycat has a very headbonkiebonking frisky day.
I am going to play with dad and nap in the sun.

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
Happy Monday
this is the last week I get to cuddle with Blizzie the kollig girl.
She is still in kollig but this semester she has an internship with the State Department.
She is going to live in Arlington and take classes too.
We live in Northern Virginia so Blizzie will only be about 30 minutes away.

I don't know how she is going to survive without my mancat cuddles.

Frootbat Friday and completely thankful for you

Pierro:
Hi Kitties
Happy Friday!!

This past several weeks has been very difficult for many beans that had to say good-bye to beloved kitties, for some it was quite sudden and a huge shock.

We received this wonderful book as a gift from a special friend in the Cat Blogosphere.

It is a beautiful story and it is very comforting.
It looks like Princess is on the front too
We have read it over many times now. It is a lovely story.
We are very grateful to all of you for your friendship and comfort.
thank you
We feel very blessed and just want you to know that we are also here to help and support all of you too!
I hope you have a headbonking happy week-end!

Whitecat Wednesday

Pierro:
lookie, here is a picture of Prinnie on her very first gotcha day, June 27, 1991.
She was 10 and a half weeks old.

Mom took Caesar and Princess home in a small kitty carrier that she borrowed from
her sweet friend neighbor that lived across from her house.
Mom had not done any "kitten proofing" so the safest place for the kittens was the down stairs bathroom.

They were good kittens and very cute.
It is nice that they had each other.

I hope that today is your best day ever!
mom is home today and she is going to help me visit some blogs
