White Cat Wednesday

Princess:
Happy happy happy
Everything is sunny and good.
I do not mind napping with Pierro as long as he behaves.
sometimes he is so wiggly, licking and scratching, I do get disgusted and leave.
He is also quite smelly (kitten food breath)
and he farts a lot! :-P

In other news: Blizzie got a job playing the piano in a big fancy hotel. Isn't that cool?

Here is a picture of my gramma and grampa in the park.
Their anniversary is today.
They have been married for 61 years!
Happy Anniversary Gramma and Grampa

I hope today is your best day ever!
Though no one can go back
and make a brand new start,
anyone can start from now
and make a brand new ending.

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar ~+~ Canmat in Braining ~ Pierro

Caesar always took a power nap.
Being a mancat requires regular power naps.

Pierro:
I like to nap It makes me peppy and ready to fight the carpet monsters and the blankie monsters

this ledge is just my size
and mom put the chair here to I don't fall off anymore

Princess:
This was a sad week-end.
An artist friend of mom and dad died last Thursday. that is why no Frootbat Friday last week :-(
She had cancer, but her passing was very unexpected.
She was a great artist and she made this lovely picture with pastels, which hangs in my room.

The title of the painting is Caternizing. We have owned it for almost 20 years.
Now it is a treasure.
Mom and dad went to a celebration of her life at a lovely funeral home in Fairfax, Virginia.
Well, it was quite sad. They had a gathering of all of her art work, and mom brought Caternizing to the gathering to share with the others.

I hope all of you have a wondermous day.
Mom is almost finished painting the deck. It needs a second coat on the floor and rails.

White Cat Wednesday

Princess:
I hope all of you kitties have a spiff day.
Here, the weather is very cool and sunny. Mom has been doing tons of yard work and .... Painting the deck!!! yes, the entire deck.
She is using some very smelly oil paint

It looks very good, but pyooo it stinks.

I am going to stay up stairs in my paradise room and snooze on my bloo blankie today.

By the way, yesterday, I was enjoying a quiet nappie in my very own kitty bed and Pierro just came over and climbed in and snuggled right next to me. Yikes, he is smelly too.

Furry Fighter Friday is for my Stormie

Princess:
I hope this is a lovely Friday and a beautiful week-end for all of you.
I will be here, lifting up my sweet friends in the UK.
Holding Castle, and Meowmie J and Meowmie L in my purrrs.

I feel it in my heart that Caesar was there at the bridge to welcome Stormie.
We do know their pain and sorrow.

Here are some special flowers in recognition for my friend Stormie and her family.

Happy yellow flowers always remind me of my friends.
It is good to have friends close-by when you are sad.

Stormie

We will miss you.
Our lives have been richer by knowing you,
witnessing your courage and being graced by your love.

You are my friend always.
I am honored to know you.
I will love you forever.

Stormiekins is being helped to the Bridge by BenVet on Friday.
I just know that so many of our loved kitties will be there to welcome her.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping
for that which has been your delight.

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar & Canmat-in-Braining ~ Pierro

Caesar was a great mancat.
Always mindful of sharing views and ideas, he was a superb communicator as well.

Pierro:
I am quiet I only meow when I am suffering or hungry I need to get better about that I suppose
mom I need more new toys

Princess:
Blizzie is taking a traveltrippie to gramma and grampa for a week.
She is leaving today. Mommie is skating the last few times these next two weeks, before the little schoolkids get out of school for summer and clog up the rinks, when they should instead be mowing lawns, reading good books, cleaning their rooms and participating in swim teams at the pool and taking tennis lessons...

Happy Monday
Happy JUNE!

Sad Friday

Princess:
We lost a great lady cat.
Goodbye Sweet Bonnie. I will meet you at the bridge one day
I am so sorry for her family.

Bonnie was a feisty girl. I loved her.
I will always remember her assertive attitude
(she is younger but so much smarter than I!)
she showed me that even an old girl like me can scream and demand her needs.
Bonnie was a beautiful girl always and that is how I will remember her.

Bonnie, I know you are frolicking around with Caesar now.

You will be in my heart forever.
Our purrs and prayers go out to her mom and dad
her boy and to her sweet tabby brother, Victor.

"As long we we can love each other,
and remember the feeling of love we had,
we can die without ever really going away.
All the love you created is still there.
All the memories are still there.
You live on-in the hearts of everyone you have touched
and nurtured while you were here."

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar ~ Canmat in Braining ~ Pierro

Princess:
Here is a sweet memory.

this photo is dated around 1993 Caesar was a 2 year old mancat.
Caesar loved to sit in the drier, snuggling all of the clean stuff.
We never had to worry about tumbling a kitty. It was always an automatic step to check for
Caesar before doing anything with a masheen in this house.

Pierro: mom says I am just like Caesar, there might be ten Pierros in this house! Everywhere mom goes, she finds me. I am her helper Canmat in Braining. Then sometimes I need a rest in my igloo bed

Busy week ahead.
Mom did not skate last week. she is very miffed about that, so she WILL be skating today.
I hope you have a beautiful Monday.
You are loved
