Whitecat Wednesday

Princess:
I love being all white.


Life is different here.
Pierro is a wild monkey.
He got in trubble two times yesterday.
Mom caught him digging in the plant pots playing in the dirt. He got in trubble for that.
He also got in trubble for licking in the sugar bowl.

I like having a little kitten boy around. His food is really yummy.
Well, *blush* I think it might be.
Okay, well... yesterday morning, while Pierro was very busy downstairs getting into trubble,
mommie filled his upstairs bowl with a fresh pile of kitten crunchies. . .
and about an hour later... his bowl was completely empty.
Well, I was not caught eating them, so really I did not do that.
Even though mommie saw me walking out of his room.
I have no idea what kitten crunchies taste like.... I was looking at his new toys, that's all.

The only thing wrong with doing nothing is that you never know when you're finished.

I had to help him because Pierro has very very severe ADHD (a very common affliction in kittins)

1. With my beautiful eyes I see excitement in everything!

2. With my soft nose I can smell things in my forever home that are new to me

3. With my velvet paws I can barely touch the steps as I race up and down


4. With my sharp ears I can hear Christabelle on her phone, mom doing experiments in the kitchen, Prinnie in the litterbox, daddy's telephone ringing, the clothes washer clunking, the microwave, the rain room, birdies, the classical music on the radio, the printer, newspaper pages turning, moneys on the kitchen counter, doors opening and closing, thunderstormies (scary) daddy's loud sneezes, my dingfeather toy that is how mommie finds me when I hear it I run to her, more birdies, kids coming home from school, airplanes taking off from Dulles airport, Prinnie hissing at me to stoppit .... and lots more stuff too


5. With my sandpaper tongue I can clean my furs and my spot 13, and sometimes after licking a lot I just sit around with my tongue hanging out and I look silly and make everyone laugh at me.

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar

Princess:
This picture looks like Blizzie is somewhere around four years old (she is 20 and a half now).
Caesar was probably a year or so old here.
He was always a big help when the beans were doing household chores.
Blizzie loved washing dishes when she was little -- especially her tea set and her little kitchen supplies.

As you can see, Caesar was eagerly watching and encouraging her to do a good job!
He was such a great mancat. Always eager, always interested.


And in the post below, Pierro is also getting interested in kitchen duties
as a mancat in training. Pierro is very serious about being mommies little helper just like Caesar was. He also enjoys helping mom dust, AND yes, vacuum. Pierro has been seen sitting on the vacuum cleaner, inspecting it!

Yesterday was the 20th of April. Another month since Caesar is gone. 3 months now.
We miss Caesar and mom still carries his pictures around in her purse for comfort.
We are certain that Caesar led us to Pierro. Mommie is loving him soosoosoo much.
He is so much like Caesar it is incredible!

Saturday Caterday ~ Great News

Princess:
The vetlady called today and said that Pierro and I are giardia free!

This is great news because now Pierro and I can spend a lot of quality time together.
Here he is in my room, being a good boy

You see, when mommie was thinking about getting kittens she called the vetlady
and our vetlady told mom to keep us separate until Pierro had his check uppie. She thought that kittens might have some germies that I am not used to. So, this was a super great idea!

Now Pierro and I are spending the day time together. He can be a pest, but I tell him when I have had enough.

He has a zillion new toys to keep him busy, and this house is big, so he has a lot of room to explore.

He is quickly turning into mommie's little helper
He is already snoopervising the loading of the dishwasher

Frootbat Friday

Princess:
First of all
THANK YOU so very very much for the birthday wishes!
I am so absolutely honored and pleased that you came by to wish me a happy Birthday...
You took the time to visit an olde lady!!

Mom baked a cake!

I had a wonderful birthday, I ate some cake with icing.
It was so yummy! I did enjoy my sunny day.

I napped most of the day in my favorite black moon chair (it is really Blizzie's) in the sun. you know the one in the blog below where Pierro is wishing me a happy birthday there...

Pierro was a good boy but he is a kitten pest sometimes.
Yesterday I was just walking calmly in the kitchen making my way toward the stairs and he came over and started jumping around, of course wanting ME to play!! He pranced over and popped me in the head with his front paw! Well, I was just trying to get up the stairs and that made me a bit mad, so I hissed at him. Also sometimes he won't let me get by to get where I need to go... He is having fun teasing me. Sometimes I tolerate it and other times I just get steamed and have to hiss. Last night he kept playing with my tail as I was trying to drink and I growled at him! Overall, I think he is just a big silly kitten. I am not sure I want to snuggle iwth him yet......

Pierro has an attention span of about 3 seconds so all is forgotten and he is off and running somewhere. I do not think he remembers any instructions I ever say to him.

During the day, mom puts his igloo bed out in the upstairs hallway so he can nap if he wants to.
He runs free in the house as long as one of the beans are home. If they go out then they put Pierro on Blizzie's room which is kitten proofed now.

Mancat Monday ~ Caesar

Princess:
Caesar liked to stand up and receive treats from daddy.
He liked to do this all the way into his senior years and had just stopped doing it about one year ago.


Some day soon we will start training Pierro to do the same. Right now, he can not concentrate on one thing longer than about three seconds haha

Our hearts are heavy today. We are still so sad about Miral
I am purring for her family. What a great loss

just a quick update on Pierro and me. Things are going well.
He is a wild silly monkey. He is happy - I am too... pretty much.
Last night he pounced on me while I was walking into mom and dad's and I hissed at him (first hiss ever) because I needed to tell him he was being a bit pesty. He sniffs me a lot and then most of the time he scampers off.
I always meow to him. I think he likes me.
I feel pretty safe napping near him in my comfy bed. Mom is always around or nearby to monitor him. He likes to play thundering herd of elephants
This week-end we have had several meals together in my space in mom and dad's room.
His food smells much better than mine. It is fine to eat together.
Mom is still keeping our meetings limited (an hour or so) and is protecting me, just in case,
So far we have not had any big problems.

Tomorrow is my birthday.
I will try to make a postie
Criz made me a really nice graphic I will put on my blog tomorrow.
I would really just like everyone to come over for a cup of catnip tea and some cookies.
This will be a bittersweet birthday. We are missing our Caesar so much.

I hate celebrating my birthday alone without him.

Frootbat Friday

Princess:

Finally Froootbat Friday.

Pierro is coming out of Blizzie's room with mom's supervision. He came to my very sunny room (with mom hovering) and looked around for quite a while. I decided I did not feel like watching him after a few minutes so I meowed kindly and vacated the area.... I went to mom and dad's room where I have my nice bed.
Mom said I was being really nice. Yeah. He is pretty cute. very quiet but he did not jump on me so he continues to dwell firmly in my very good graces. I think he likes me too. He is very shy. I am not shy so this will be fine. I will help him. He has the most adorabibble meow. What a puff!

Pierro:
Um... Hi *waves* ::runs under the bed in Blizzie's room::

I am really happy here my sister is all white Wow she is nice to me and she smells good
::breathes:: She has a nicer room than me I am going to be extra good so I can hang around there with her I love mommie I have a fun dingfeather toy mom calls me Mr.Poopy she dumps poison down my throat twice a day I try to wiggle away but she always wins ::breathing:: ok Bye. ::slinks back into Blizzie's room::

Princess: mom did a silly thing yesterday. (oh meow, I should be telling all of you this on tattle-tail Tuesday) While preparing our foods in separate dishes, she put my vitamins and Cosequin in Pierro's kitten food. As soon as she put the powders in she realized what she did... so she dumped Pierro's kitten foods in with my bland and boring KidneyFunction food, mixed it all up and gave me half. Wow. Yummo. I get the other half later. I love having a little brother!!!
I love having a flaky mom too!
Pierro of course got his kitten food. He is a very good boy. He just better not wrestle with me... or I will give him a whap with my paw!

Whitecat and Wacky Wednesday

Princess:
Happy Wednesday
Yesterday I was napping in mom and dads room and mom brought Pierro to see me.
I meowed at him three times. I did not hiss.
We touched noses.
Pierro was quiet and eager, but curious.
Then she brought him back to his room.
We need to get him completely over this giardia before we get to share stuff and meet.
so far, I have not shown any signs of giardia.
