Flowers and frootbat Friday

Princess:
What is left of our garden...

We are having a "drought" here and our county just instituted water restrictions...
Since daddy recently renovated our lawn and spent a bazzillion green papers doing it, he is
exempt.
He is allowed to water the baby grass with the sprinklers every other day, and use a watering can on the other day... (odd rule) so, essentially, he is allowed to water our new grass every day.

Our flowers are saying "bye-bye ::waves:: see you next year"

This is Tithonia. It is a tall growing bright orange cheerful flower in the backyard garden!

and these are the snappy happy snapdragons on the side of the house!

and here I am in all of my pink and white frootbatty wonderfulness.
Happy Week-end kitty friends!!

Happiness is where we find it, but rarely where we seek it!

Your garden is very beautiful, and so are you, Prinnie. :)

Both of my humans have "black thumbs" and end up killing any plants they try to grow, so we just have grass in our tiny yard.

I hope you and Caesar, and your humans, have a great weekend.

Those flowers are just what I would expect to see at your "happy place!"

You have a wonderful weekend, too, all of you'ns!

We don't have any rain here either. Good thing the LL is garden inept so she doesn't water things anyway. Glad to hear you can keep watering your baby grass!

Snapdragons are very happy flowers! My Mommie remembers when she was a girl how you could squeeze the flowers from behind and make them "talk." Do you know what I mean?

Hi C-kins and P-kins. I was going to say be careful of the snappy-dragons but they look quite friendly - and then I thought if they live with you guys they must be. Have a lovely weekend, we've had a sad little week as we lost our little Buddy to the Rainbow bridge. Sigh. F-kins.

Dear Caesar and Princess;

I want to thank you for your very kind comments following The Great Cat Debate. We need more moderately liberal conservative Feline-Americans, that's for sure!

Your photos make me very sad because you guys look just like the late Siggy and Bru so I know you are good felines!

I am linking your site to mine. I appreciate your support.

I love your snapdragons. We grow them, too, and they are such happy flowers. I used to squeeze them and make them "snap", too. You look very happy in the sun, Prinnie.

Mosaic Lady gasped when she saw your Tithonia (orange flowers?)
So lovely!
And your quote is pretty cool too.
Do you know when I came to her house she thought her next cat would be:
Long haired
White
Male
Fat
Lazy
That was her wish list.
Instead she got me:
Short haired
Black
Girl
Skinny
WILD and ATHLETIC

You can't always get what you want
but if you try sometimes
you just might find
you get what you need!

Those are beautiful flowers Princess but you are even more beautiful! I'm glad your Daddy is able to keep watering. My Daddy doesn't worry about the grass so much (it's mostly weeds) but he does try to keep the trees alive.

I just tagged you and Caesar for a new meme.

Guess what I did today? I came out of my frying pan this evening and stayed out up till now...that would be over five hours! Plus mommy gave me a bath today...she said a week of stinky sick bay made mean icky girl cat. Then I slept on my soft fuzzy blue blanket infront of the warm stove. Life if great because I am getting better:)

Those are pretty flowers. We don't really have a yard. Our front yard is our landlords backyard. Nothing belongs to us. Boo Hoo.

that is a lovely garden you have! we get 'hosepipe' bans here in the UK most summers now - can you believe it! i am in ENGLAND, it is always raining! my meowmie has seen many people water their gardens with hospipes at midnight in the hope they won;t get caught! i guess that is a bit selfish - especially seeing as you can still use a watering can during the hosepip bans! x
