Caesar:Happy Tuxie (that's ME) Toozday every cat!
here is a photo I wanted to share with you last week... but... I forgot.
Mommie and I had video-chat with grandma and grampa last week.
Blizzie and daddie were visiting a college in PA.
Gramma is clapping because she is happy to see me
if you click to biggify you can see me really good in the upper right corner!Now... it is important to point out here, if you are looking closely, you will see that my gramma was borned with only a left hand. God decided that she did not need a right hand, her arm ends at her wrist.
(God might have given her right hand to someone else that has a large butt and thunder thighs [everyone gets something, right?])My gramma is quite amazing :-) In the oldish days she was at one time, by some people, considered "handicapped" but my gramma did not want to be treated like she could not do things on her own, so she was persistant and a little stubborn. ("no no, nothin' doin'" as she would say)
She raised 4 children (including my mommie, who was kid#3), she sewed many of their clothes when they were little, even some spring coats that all matched, she makes Belgian lace (mommie has some she can show you one day) she embroiders beautiful pictures, she is a gourmet cook, she plays the piano (quite well) she can drive and she goes to exercise class, and she volunteers for the Red Cross Blood Drives, Oh I almost forgot, she sings in two choirs.
My mombean is not this peppy. . . .
My grampa is amazing too. I can tell you about him some day... for instance, how he is 83 and he still plays tennis (geezer tennis) and has won a whole bunch of Geezer Olympics Medals in tennis, and how he got snapped up by the Nazi's in WW2 and forced to get on a train and work far away from his home for almost a year, until the end of the war.
Then he
walked all the way back home to his mommie and dad and brother and sister in Rotterdam, Netherlands from Poland.
So Anyway, I like to make an appearance on videochat night to make my grandbeans happy. After a while, I say goodnight and go upstairs and howl my head off. They make me happy.
Difficult things take a long time,
impossible things a little longer.
