Frootbat Friday ~ Memorial Day Week-end

Pierro: We have been relaxing and having a great week with Blizzie.
This next few weeks we will try to keep up and blog... but mom says there is a million things going on here.

This week-end, remember our veterans and those that fought for our freedoms that we enjoy today. Every day we should honor the brave!

Whitecat Wednesday

Princess:
Hello sweet and dear friends.
I am doing well, and I certainly hope all of you are too.
I can meow again!!
and mom is feeding me moist kitty foods (Purina NF - for kidney) all the time now. I hardly ever get crunchies and if I do, they have been soaking in water for at least 20 minutes!
Mom is worried that I am not chewing my crunchies well enough and that it can hurt my throat.

Good news, Kollig Blizzkin is coming home from kollig tomorrow!
I am happy to be healthy again to see my favorite girl, Blizzie.

Hi kitties guess what Prinnie is getting a bit better She is eating foods and mom is forcing her to drink I think water feels crummy on her throat so that is why she was not drinking mom also gave her some pain medication so she would not feel so hurty mom says "Things are looking up!"

Now, mom has been very busy with Prinnie. Every two hours she gives Prinnie foods and pets her and gives her waters. (mom did not go skating/ice dancing this week at all!) I have been a very good boy and daddy and I play a lot (dad works at home) and I have been busy looking out the windows at the bloo birds that live in our yard.

So, mom has been VERY tired and not helping us with the computer and visiting. Last night she had a plan to give Prinnie fluids, and give her a snack, then have some snuggle time with ME.... but dad said to mom at around 10:30pm, "what is this all over Pierro's carpit in his room" and mom came and looked and .... oooopsie I got poops stuck to my tail when I was in my litter box and I could not get it off so I jumped really fast out of my box and flung poops all over the walls and carpit and I slid my butt on the carpit to get that stoopit poop off of my tail.

mom said "OH MY CAT!!" or something like that and then she spent the next 20 minutes scrubbing and washing the walls and carpit with Lysol, did I mention that the poop was everywhere?... and then, dad said "well, I wonder what Pierro's butt looks like" and he captured me and I had the evidence still on my tail and butt, so then mom spent the next 10 minutes cleaning my tail and butt while dad clamped me in his arms and she used soap and made me smell like a flower!

I am taking my medicines and mom is giving me subq's at night because she says I am not drinking enough

hey happy Tuesday Kitties!
I hope everycat is doing well

um actually I have have a bit of a problem the past few days. I had to go to the vet on Monday!! It was terrible. Please purrr for me.
See, last week Friday when Pierro had his check up, mom got this glop from the vetlady called EFA ultra, some liquid stuff, with fish oil in it. It was for me, to stay healthy. Well, mom was hesitant about giving it to me, but on Sunday morning she decided to give me a littlebit in my breakfast foods. I gobbled my foods up and then I took a nappie in the moonchair.
About two hours later... I could not meow and I was feeling barfy but did not barf, my throat was gloppy and bothering me a lot!. Mom was very worried and took my temperature and it was okay but I was feeling really crummy.
So, Monday morning (yesterday) she took me straight to the vet place.
So the vet checked me all over. I could not scream at her because my throat was all gloppy
the vet gave mom a bottle of pills to heal my throat. she thinks I might have gotten sick and threw up some gastric stuff... not sure.
So. anyway... mom is still worried about me
By the way, I still can't meow, I like eating though, I am depressed and quiet and sad oh my, and I am purrring too. Mom and dad are busy taking care of me and loving me.
I want to get better.

mom will write an uppie-date later today.

Pierro is being a very good helper. He is very sweet to me.

1:00pm Tuesday uppiedate:
I am doing okay. hate that medicine (sucralfate 1/4 tablet given in a slurry) to heal my throat, mom gave me a tiny pepcid too. just disgusting, bleh.
I still can't meow, so annoying. I am doing okay but my throat feels like there is something stuck in it. maybe I have a booboo on my throat. I am usually very vocal and this is really bothering me. When I get up and walk around I feel like I want to barf but I don't, it is almost like a chokey feeling.
I am not running a fever, I love my foods, drinking is not so exciting so mom gave me sub-qs last night... and threatening to give me some tonight.
Thank you so much for purring for me. I really love all of you very much! Pierro continues to be a good boy, not playing any tricks on me.

Hey kitties. I survived the vet!! I was brave and I did not go bonkers in the carrier on the way home either. Mom was proud of me. I am a mancat now!

Frootbat Flowers and Vet Friday

Princess:
Yay it is Friday and thank you everyone for visiting us.
Mom has been busy in the gardens getting everything cleaned up before the rains came.
My test results came back and I am doing good for an old girl!
I am very happy.

I lost one pound and so I have to eat more softie foods and less crunchies, mostly because I have crummy teeths and it is hard to chew so I swallow them whole. *blushes*
The vet said my kidney function is good. I get sub-q's only two days a week.

Mom is taking Pierro to the vet for his yearly check up this morning. He will also get a rabbit shot, .....so that is why he acts like rabbit. (I never got rabbit shots because I was allergic to them)
He is terribly afraid of the car ride and the vet place, he gets terrified in the car.

we got him a new soft carrier and mom is hoping it will be better for him. He was hurting himself badly when he was in my prisonbox which is made of hard plastic with the metal door.

I am so happy that everycat is doing well. Mom said we can come an visit blogs this week-end and we are looking forward to that.

Princess: It has been very warm here and our beans have allergies so we have the cold blowy machine going. I stay in my room upstairs, it is the sunniest and nicest room.
Pierro brings his bloo bed in and we have a great day!
Oh, guess what? This morning I have to go to the VET for a check up and some tortures.
Hopefully I will be home by 10:00.

I got a new bed, and Prinnie and I share it together and sometimes I let her sleep in it all by her self. Mom got it from Target. It has a squishy bottom part and it is very cozy.

Happy Day kitties. I hope all of you are well and happy.
One week past my birthday and here I have a beautiful graphic to show you that MissPeachie made me. I adore it!

I am feeling fine. I love pets and kisses, but please, do not wrap your front legs around my neck and try to pull me down to the floor ... and ALSO, really (Pierro), I do not need a velcro guide everywhere I go around the house!

I hope you have a happy day. Dad has been in charge of us mostly. Mom has earlier ice skating hours now, so she is up in the morning and out the door before we even get second breakfast.

Today she is taking a break.... and going to gramma and grampa in Annapolis, Merryluhnd.
She is there to show her mum and dad her new car and to spend some fun time with her adorable parents.

Mancat Monday

Hey everycat. Highflagtail to all of you
What a great week-end. I had such a great time. I saw mom she was outside and I meowed at her There was a dog fight in our front yard too, lots of barkbarkbarkbark. That scared me. ... heh...
Mom and dad worked in the gardens this week-end. dad hooked up the water hoses and got the wheelbarrow out for mom.
I did something really fun yesterday I jumped down from the TOP RAILING from up stairs.

It was the most exciting thing I have ever done. I was flying!!!
I landed right on Prinnie's chair, well, on the arm which was puffy-ish-ish (missed the glass end-table by inches! mom said OhNo!!)

Mom thought we were going to have to go to the emergency hospital, I could have broken my leg but I didn't.

Frootbat Friday, Flowers and thank you

Yay it is Friday and finally sunny and nice here in Virginia.
we had so many days of rain, it made us crazy.
Now we are excited about many days of sun shine.
Mom is going to work in her garden all week-end. Daddy is going to drive to Williamsburg and see Blizzie at kollig, she is getting inducted into some super brain society.

Today is my 18th birthday

Princess:
can you believe it? I am 18 today. and it is White cat Wednesday too
I am so happy to be here. I am not a frisky kitten, but I do love life, and pets, and FOOD and even nip! and.... warm soft comfy beds. I demand constant pets and attention.

I am so happy to have friends like you.

I miss my brother and litter-mate Caesar.

He was a good boy, we miss him, but Pierro has really filled that hole in our hearts with a lot of silliness. He was truly heaven sent. We know that Caesar found him for us.
We are certain of that and we are thankful that the connection between Caesar and the breederguy Dimitri and mom was successful.

Pierro is a good snuggle buddy.... well, he comes to snuggle with me and I am okay with it but when I get up for a drink..... I do not climb back in my cuppie bed with him.... I do not trust him, I know he wants to wrestle and play. He loves to wrestle and play and stalk me and it annoys me. I scream at him to cut it out but he never listens until I hiss.
He is a good kitty and I am training him every day

Today is Mancat Monday and I am a mancat.
I am thinking about Caesar today because on Wednesday his littermate Princess will be 18 years old! She is going to have a nice birthday and I will take care of her forever.
