FROOTBAT and flowers Friday

Princess:
first of all... great super great news, mom's car has been officially "totaled"(declared not costworthy to be repaired) by the car fixer place so she and dad are going out shopping for a new car next week!! Mom says she wants a red CX-7 Mazda totally (haha) loaded

Okay, Happy Good Friday to all of you kittie friends.
Today is a great day.
Pierro and I are very happy. We hope all of you are doing well and feeling fine.

Please have a lovely Easter week-end. Mom and dad and Christabelle are going to the grandbeans for Easter festivities on Saturday because grammabean is singing on Sunday morning and then the day gets too long for her, she needs a nap.

We hope you have a marvy week-end
as long as the sun is shining I am content to just rest in one of my many cozy nests
Here are some cute little flowers mom found in the woods on her daily walk in our neighborhood.

Aren't they so cute?

Happy Spring

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
This is a good day to lay around in the sunshine and try to look like a huge tiger!

Mom is not skating this week because of the holidays. I would think she has more time to help us blog and visit but she says something about working in the yard and garden every day this week.

Have a spiff day kitties!

Frootbats.... and crashed car

Princess: Friday greetings every kitty!
yes, I am in my cozy chair in the family room... just in case I hear some food being prepared. I also like making my demands here while I am relaxing. "more pets, please!!"
"I need more crunchies" "can I have a drink of water?" "brush my fur" "Dad, where are you?"
By the way, did you know that I will be 18 years young on April 15th?

mom is doing okay. she has a mild headache and sore muscles around her head and neck. she has been resting a lot.
Personally, I think the whole car crash ordeal wore her out. Just thinking about it makes her get all shaky.
here is moms car:

She does not have to pay for the repairs. The other driver is responsible for everything.
Dad says they will get the car repaired and then trade it in for a new car as a "car that has been in an accident" is not a good car to hang onto. Moms car has a bent frame, see how the wheel is squished into the side. It is pushed in about 10 inches. When mom tried to move her car to the side of the road (freaking out as well) she said it felt like her tire was flat because the wheel would not turn very well. She did not know the extent of the damage until she got out and looked.

Pierro:

Princess sure does blabb a lot. She is loud too.
sometimes when she is walking around I run up to her and whack her butt.
she screams at me, and yesterday she hissed at me.
I hope all of you have a super fun and sunny week-end.
rain here today, but we will have sunshine in our hearts

Whitecat WEdnesday

Well, here I am, all is well.
Yesterday mom was out driving around the world (45 mph) and she crashed her car into some stupid cadillac that pulled out right in front of her at an intersection where she had the right of way and a green light on the main road.
Fortunately there were 2 police and several other witnesses to the accident.
Mom did not get hurt too bad but her car is in bad shape. She just has seatbelt soreness and a burn on her left arm from the airbag exploding while she was trying to drive to the right to avoid t-boning the cadillac and possibly killing a passenger!

So anyway, we are taking care of mom today.
please remind your beans to watch out for stupid people.

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
These are my favorite mousies.
I play with these all the time
I have about a hundred mousies now, but sometimes I gather a few and put them up here
and have a nap with them.

Pierro's Gotcha Day

Pierro:
today is my gotcha day.

Last year, in Frebruary, mom was looking in the newspaper at all of the pets for sale just because she loves to do that. She sees those ads and hopes that those pets find a home. Then she saw an ad for Cornish Rex kittens and a webpage. There, mom found four kittens. She fell in love with ME IMMEDIATELY.

She told me it was love at first sight.

So, she would go and visit this web page many times, and look at me.

Then one day she decided to email the breeder guy, Dimitri. she asked him about his kittens. He said he still had kittens and she wanted to go see them.... she really just wanted to go see me. So she and Blizzie drove to his house (about 20 minutes away)and she met the kittens.
WE were pretty afraid of her, but mom was loving me.
She went home and asked the vet lady, Dr. Sasseville
One year ago TODAY, my mom and dad came and got me and my brother Primus and brought us home. I was really afraid, but Primus was very happy and friendly. He was zippy and jumpy and happy. I hid in little places to be safe and quiet. *sigh*

The next day, mom realized that two kittens was not a good idea. So, she had to take Primus back. This was not a difficult decision because she fell in love with me. She thought Primus was very cute and silly but she was loving me very very much and treating me like a baby and everything.
Now I like to help mom every day.

Dad works at home and he plays with me when he is not having a big meeting on the phone or writing an important paper

I have a lot of toys and I love to play with mousies a lot!

I have about one hundred of these mousies all over the house.
I have my very own room to sleep in at night with a radio and toys and piles of blankies.

I only have to stay in there so mom can get a couple hours of sleep,

then I come to her in the morning and wake her up.

look , I still have my anaconda. mom makes me keep it in my room now...

So, now I have been here a year and I am very happy
Please stay and have some tuna cakes

and catnip cookies

mouse cookies

and tuna juice

I think Prinnie is happy to have me as a little brother

I am so happy to have all of you as my friends

Mancat Monday

Pierro:
guess what?
Thursday is my Gotcha Day! really. It is
I hope I have a chance that I can blog and tell you about one year ago.
we had to eliminate a few of the blog posts from last March because of a stupid court case about the other kittun that came home with me for a while (my brother Primus) and then mom realized that two boys was not a good idea with an olde lady (don't tell Prin I said that) like Prinnie... When we brought the other kittun back to the breeder, he found a wonderful home for him, but the lady got mad because she found our blog and mom wrote that the other kitten was "alpha cat" and she took that to mean "aggressive" and sued the breeder because the other kittun was being wild at her house. Wow, it was pretty strange.
The court case was a nightmare and we had a jerk for a judge.

here is a picture of me when I first came to live here:

I loved playing with that pink slipper when I was a kittun.
There was stuff in there I had to get it!

You can read the post from last year just so you have an idea of from where mom started.

I do not know anything about my kitten brother now. Mom does not hear from the breeder guy but she hopes that he is well and she wishes he would email her.

anyway
HAPPY MANCAT MONDAY
to all of my friends!!

also, I am very sorry that we have not been visiting or commenting lately.
mom has been having a smood wing, no... a mood swing. She will get through it.

Mancat Monday

Here I am, eating like a mancat:

Pierro:
I love mom I love mom I love mom
Blizzie had a nice friendcollegegirl from France come to visit on Friday and they went to DC to look at the museums
when they come home after a night out of fun I was really afraid of the nice friend, and I hid in mom's room under the bed. Then later I came out and sat by the door but I do not like strangers. Mom picked me up and cuddled me and took me to the friend she seemed pretty nice and not scary
Then at night mom put me in my room at 11:30 (I can't sleep over with Prinnie because she like peace and quiet) so I was in my room but early in the morning I wanted mommie really bad and started crying a lot. Blizzie came to get me and she cuddled me and then daddy woke up and he took me downstairs. They told me I was not allowed to wake up the visitor or mommie. I just wanted to be with mommie. finally daddy let me go to her at 7:00 in the morning and we snuggled for a long time. Mom said from now on when I start crying in my room I can come and sleep with her. So, all day Saturday Blizzie and daddy were really tired from taking care of me haha
-- actually I was pretty tired too

I hope you have a fine day. It is rainy and dreary here. no sun!! We hate it.

Chatty Furs and Flowers Friday - and byebye parentbeans

Princess:
Well, it is completely sunny here and quite warm, maybe 57 today. Pierro and I are napping all day in the sun. He just better behave or I will scream at him, which only provokes him. Ah little silly poos.

Look at our Rexfurs. see how different they are?

Pierro was not so curly as a kitten but he is getting handsome curly now. Caesar and I were always curly Once when we lived in another neighborhood, and Caesar and I were only one or two years old, the neighbor guy came over and saw us in our house and he said "those are the ugliest cats I have ever seen" mom was only kidding but she said "please leave immediately :-D" then he asked if mom curled our hair every day (he had never heard of cornish rex kitties) and mom said that Yes, she did indeed curl our furs every day with a tiny curling iron....

Pierro: I am here today to show you the roses that Christabellebeangirl gave to mom and dad for Valentine's day.

Aren't they pritty? Mom is happy that I do not chomp on flowers. Caesar used to do that, so flowers were banned from the domicile but I am good. hmmmm I wonder if it would be a neat idea to knock flowers over someday.

That would be drippy cool.

mom is going to get Blizbean from kollig today. mom has to drive all day and she will be home later. Dad is here to snoopervise. huh? what mom? he is not? why not?
Oh... he is going to a funeral. One of his friends went to Heaven, which is the same as the bridge where all of our wonderful kitty friends are.
