Friday Frootbats

Pierro:
Hey kitties guess what it was freezing cold for a few days and mom and dad cranked up the heet because they like to be warmer They should just lay around like me and Prinnie

have a frooty Friday and a snappy week-end
headbonkies

ps: mommies sewing machine

several friends mentioned that mom's machine looked cool.
well, this is gramma's machine. she gave it to mommie about 20 years ago.
It is a Singer 316G made in Heidelburg Germany in the early 1950's It is considered antique.
Mom loves this machine. It is completely mechanical so she can maintain it her self.
Mom thinks one day she would like to buy a simple inexpensive serger.

Princess: pps: we are so sorry we have had a lot of problems commenting. we have been reading your bloggies, we just have not had any time to click and comment. Our deepest apologies. All of you are so adorable and wonderful. we will try to really visit this week-end

MANCAT Monday

Pierro:

I helped mom with the chair recovering

and yesterday mom went
to gramma and grampa (her mom and dad) and made the 4 chairs look like brand new

here is the two pieces she took home to use as patterns for the rest of the chairs
She could not have done such a good job with out my help I know it

Mom says I am a very good mancat She adores me!
She has not heard from Dimitri the breeder friend she hopes he is well and happy
and wishes like crazy he would email her
Mom says he did a perfect job raising me into a gentle love tiger in my kittenhood
headbonkies for a happy day

but wisdom lingers.

Friday Frootbats! + Pierro is a "flair"

Princess:
I am so sorry we have not been around visiting. Mom has been busy

Tomorrow she is going to see gramma and grampa and recover their olde chairs so she has to get all of that done and ready for the trippie.

Look what mom made in Facebook.
Pierro is a flair now

We hope you have sunshine this week-end.
get lots of it
It is good for you
ps: mom had some blood works done a few weeks ago and found out her calcium is low
She thinks your lady beans should check their calcium (she is an olde nurse and quite surprised that her calcium was so low!) She is going to take 1500mg of calcium everyday along with vitamin D. She has two flavors in the kitchen, Oscal +D (tastes like chalk) and Viactive +D (tastes like chalkey chocolate caramel)

I know God will not give me

Whitecats (one with grey blotches) Wednesday

Princess:
Happy Wednesday
Thank you so much for your kindness on Monday.
Yes, we are amazed that it has been a year.
Now we have little Pierro and he has helped our hearts heal.
He is truly a blessing in our lives. Pierro is a lot like Caesar... quite honestly, he is a lot more gentle with me than Caesar, hahaha meow Caesar used to get quite wild and rambunctious and sometimes he would bite me!!!
Pierro never bites me but he does like to bop my head. When I scold him he stops.
He is truly heaven sent!

Love and purrrs always

Mancat Monday ~ Remembering Caesar

one year ago today.....
Princess: we had our last day with our handsome love tiger Caesar, he was my litter-mate and sweet brother.
This post was made by our good friend MissPeachie last year.
we love it. Thank you MissPeach

QUIETLY I WENT INTO THAT GENTLE NIGHT...

I will miss your happy face my beloved friend Caesar...

You have left to prepare a place for us...

You were the bravest Mancat I ever met!
Living a quiet life with those you love...

With GREAT courage in the face of trials...
Each colorful day,
you brightened it even more!
A friend to all...
Full of adventure when your days were new...
with your beloved Princess as kittens you two!
Always a splendid mancat,
gazed out across your world.
Thank you for the pleasure
we had knowing you were in our lives...

Your big shadow remains never to be filled,
like the void in our heavy hearts...
Don’t say, We have come now to the end.
White shores are calling.

~~~~~
You and I will meet again.
And you’ll be here in my arms, just sleeping.
~~~
What can you see, on the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
~
Across the sea, a pale moon rises.
The ships have come, to carry you home.

Our sweet Caesar

Frootbat and Flowers Friday and good-bye Blizzie

Princess:
Today Blizzie goes back to kollig.
mom is driving her (3 hours each way) and will be home really late tonight
I hope all of you have a happy wonderful Friday and a happysnappy week~end
I am going to go have a nap now with Pierro.

well, hmmmmm. . . Pierro loves me very much,
he likes to snuggle really close
however, he is a busy little kittyboy and usually finds something else to do

and just leaves me to nap on my own
Last Thursday (the 8th) was gramma's birthday (mommie's mom)
These are the flowers that mom and Blizzie got for gramma.
Aren't they pretty?

Mancat Monday ~ I am a mancat

Pierro:
When you are a mancat, you should hide so your beans cannot find you.
Keep very still when they come into the room

aaaaah drattt
okay so I am still working on this

don't worry kitties. I will do some more remembering Caesar posties
I just had to tell you about this hiding thing I am working on

Whitecat Word-full Wednesday

Princess:
mom is surprised that is has almost been one year since Caesar is gone.
So many kitties have gone to the bridge lately. We know their pain and deeeep sorrow
Mom says you must take your time to grieve, never rush or let others decide that your grieving should be completed.
One thing that was very helpful for mom was that she printed out many of the tributes to Caesar from all of you on your blogs in Blogger land and looked at them regularly. She also printed out a few of her favorite photos of Caesar and took them with her in her purse, kind of like she was taking Caesar with her. What ever works for you to give you comfort you must do that. Never rush your grieving, never push yourself to get over it and move on.

Thank you for the praise you gave Pierro for his very first solo Mancat Monday. He was so proud of your comments he raced around the house for two hours!

All of you are loved very much by me.
purrrs and
May the sun shine, all day long,
everything go right, and nothing wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you,
and may all the wishes you wish come true!

Mancat Monday Pierro

Pierro
Today I am doing Mancat Monday all by myself I think Caesar is watching over me and Prinnie and he approves Prinnie will tell you more about that on Wednesday mom just read a note from Dr Fox in the paper about some old girl cat (like Prinnie, heehee) that got a noo boy kitten in the house and how that old girl kitty got mad and started peeing and pooping out of her litter box I think that is funny hahaha but Prinnie is not mad with me eventhough I do annoy her sometimes once I was eating her foods (oops) and she was licking me I am glad Prinnie is not angry that I live here and she does not pee and poop out of the litter box
mom thinks I am very very gentle I do get reely wild and frisky
sometimes I pounce on Prinnie and try to wrestle with her I just want to play with her sooo much but she hisses and tells me to stoppit sometimes I do but most of the time mom has to distract me with some other activity and then give Prinnie lots of kisses and pets

I like boxes

I think it is very mancatly to sit in the box
I hope all of you kitties have been good and are enjoying your noo toys
my noo toys are all over the house

we will try to visit more now that the Christmas holiday is over mom has been really busy and Prinnie and I have been suffering. by the way, Prinnie is doing okay she has had some tummy troubles but we think Prinnie is doing okay... mom is keeping a close eye on her she eats well and gets around the house just fine mom thinks perhaps she got worried for nothing two weeks ago
we are just happy that Prinnie is doing well we are taking good care of the little old white Princess and I am being nice to her really I am trying

Happy Snappy Noo Year to all of you
Here are two great quotes to get your January off to a great start!!

FROOTBATS Friday and Thursday and Happy New Year!

Pierro:
Happy Frootbat New Year

Prinnie and I have new toys

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
