White cat Wednesday

Princess:
Today is my half birthday!!!
I am 17 and a half years old today!
I am so happy to be here and have all of you for my friends.

How do I spend my days?
every morning I start out my day calling for my breakfast at the top of the stairs:

I meow very VERY loud. Mom brings my breakfast to my room

after I finish my foods then I meow very loud to tell mom to clean up my litterbox
while she is cleaning up my box I take one of several baths on my big pillow

I spend most of my time upstairs because I have sun and softies and nice music in my room
oh and my heater too


sometimes I come downstairs if the door is open for me to enjoy the outside sounds and sun.

About every 7-10 days mom gives me subq's
I sit really still for a while after I get my fluids

I do not really like that but I always get some kitten crunchies


and then... I have my silly little brother Pierro to keep me laughing
I am so happy Caesar found him and sent him to us.


Michico and Adan and Lego sent me this exciting paw print kit.

Mom says we can do this on the week-end when daddy can help
I will sow you the results!

mommies fingggers are getting all better she took the glue off and she can wash her hands as long as she is gentle she still wearrs a plastic glove in the torrent of rain room

Hi kitties.
mom's fingers are doing okay!
she had all of the cuts glued so she has not had ANY gross disgusting bleeding or anything.
she wears band-aids on her fingers
She is getting better but she cannot get her fingers wet until Sunday

I hope everycat is doing well.
Mom is going to try to skate today!!

mom was using some noisy electric tool in the yard to trim the bushes this morning and she had her gloves on and did something stoopid, she pulled a branch out of the cutting thing and it grabbed her glove and cut her fingers.

not terrible but she had to go to the urgent care place to get it cleaned up and the doctor glued her skin back together, gave her a big shot [Tdap, it makes her feel barfy and headachey] and antibiotics! she said the gluing stung like nuts!

she is a bit mad now she can only play the piano with one hand.... also she is not sure how she is going to get her ice skates on for monday skating... so maybe she will just go to the rink and meet her friends for the lunch which was planned at a local restaurant in maryland

she does not even want to think yet about all of the other stuff that will be difficult to do... like making our foods and scooping our poops. i think daddy will help her a lot.

mom is an olde nurse and she is not a good patient but she needs to rest and not type
we will take a week off and help her get better. we will certainly visit around but probably not comment as typing is really hard. [it took forever to type this up!]
mom says it is kind of hurty, but she will take some ibuprofen and keep her hand over her head, it feels better that way.

i hope everycat has a happy snappy week-end and a great week.

oh yeppie and the frootbats I am a frootbat and so is Princess she is a loud and bossy frootbat
she got some nice stuff in the mail and she lets me sniff it and lay around on it but mostly I get to be on her bloo blankie that she gave me so if I bother her too much she tells me to get on the blanket and stoppit

Aaaahh yes, most of the time Pierro can be a good boy, er a good mancat. While I nap in the sun he watches out for the birdies. If he finds a really exciting bunch of bloo birdies he wakes me up to have a look.

Christabelle came over on Saturday and told Pierro he looked like a dirty q-tip hahahahahaha
such as one that has been used to clean mommies sewing macheen

I will try to visit around today, yesterday was hectic, today mom is outta here at 9 for the rink.
She will be back after she runs to the store for more froots and milk etc.

Thank you everycat for such a lovely birthday for Pierro. He is such a wild monkey and on his birthday mommie went to visit her mom and dad in Annapolis Maryland and daddy stayed home and supervised (he works at home)... Pierro was put in timeout for about 15 minutes because he was being a pest with me. haha on his birthday haha

Dad had his eye surgery done on Wednesday and the new lens is much better. He is recovering nicely.
Mommie is NOT going to the new oncologist today. she is happy the appointment was cancelled because the ladydoctor is brand new in this practice. The practice is still getting certifications from insurance companies for her, or whatever... so mommie has to wait. haha she is happy haha

Today is silly Pierro's birthday.
He is a mancat... finally!

Here is a long story:
Caesar led us to Pierro in March. Mommie was crying a lot. She was so heartbroken about my littermate brother Caesar going to the bridge on January 20 of this year. she cried and cried and cried and cried. she would not stop crying!! She promised me that she would take care of me now that Caesar was gone. She would make sure I was happy and loved now that I was alone.
Then one day in March, mommie was looking in the newspaper and she saw a tiny advert for cornish rex kittens and there was a website silkywonders.com. She loves looking at cornish rex kittens and she went to the web page and saw the kittens.
The minute she saw Pierro's photo,
she looked at him carefully and fell immediately in love with him

Perhaps some of you might remember the the events from this first realization that Caesar continued to be in our lives. Blizzie and mom went to the breederguy's house (Dimitri) and looked at his kittens over spring break. He did not live far from our house. Mom told dad that she just wanted to "go and look". Blizzie and mom met two kittens, Pierro and Primus.
She loved Pierro instantly, but Primus was also really cute.
Both kittens were adorrrrable!
She came home and thought maybe two kittens would be okay... but she was worried about me.
She called the vetlady and the vet lady said no, only one kitten. (because of me, and my age. The vet knows me very well) Well, momie did not listen to those words and brought home two days later, two kittens, Pierro and Primus. Then things started unraveling. Mom started worrying a lot about me and the kittens were very wild and silly. she was worried that I would get trampled (I am 17 and almost 1/2 now) and get very very sad. Mom realized she had make a huge mistake bringing two kittens home.
Well, the next day mom had to bring Primus back. She felt really stupid and impulsive. Mom believes that Caesar led us to Pierro. He knew that mom would be very sad when he went to the bridge. Caesar picked the perfect kitten for mom.
Pierro, when he first came to our house... he was really afraid.

So we have had Pierro in our house for 6 months, if you remember in April, Pierro had his hooha surgery only a week after mom brought him home.

Now, Pierro is a very good boy. sometimes he bothers me but mostly he is a very gentle and sweet tiger just like Caesar was. I am sure, Pierro was heaven sent!

She is going to a new cancer doctor on Friday and she is not looking forward to it. Usually new a doctor visit means piles of new tests, disgusting!!
