I hope all of you kitties have a spiff day.
Here, the weather is very cool and sunny. Mom has been doing tons of yard work and .... Painting the deck!!! yes, the entire deck.
She is using some very smelly oil paint

It looks very good, but pyooo it stinks.

I am going to stay up stairs in my paradise room and snooze on my bloo blankie today.

By the way, yesterday, I was enjoying a quiet nappie in my very own kitty bed and Pierro just came over and climbed in and snuggled right next to me. Yikes, he is smelly too.

Furry Fighter Friday is for my Stormie

I hope this is a lovely Friday and a beautiful week-end for all of you.
I will be here, lifting up my sweet friends in the UK.

I feel it in my heart that Caesar was there at the bridge to welcome Stormie.
We do know their pain and sorrow.

Blizzie is taking a traveltrippie to gramma and grampa for a week.
She is leaving today. Mommie is skating the last few times these next two weeks, before the little schoolkids get out of school for summer and clog up the rinks, when they should instead be mowing lawns, reading good books, cleaning their rooms and participating in swim teams at the pool and taking tennis lessons...

We lost a great lady cat.
Goodbye Sweet Bonnie. I will meet you at the bridge one day
I am so sorry for her family.

Bonnie was a feisty girl. I loved her.
I will always remember her assertive attitude
(she is younger but so much smarter than I!)
she showed me that even an old girl like me can scream and demand her needs.
Bonnie was a beautiful girl always and that is how I will remember her.

We had rainy drabby weather yesterday but today we have sun!!

Blizzie and Mom went to gramma's singing concert on Sunday.

Mom said the concert was wonnnnnderful!
Then they went to gramma and grampa's house house and had tea and lots and lots of cookies!

Princess:
Here is a sweet memory.

this photo is dated around 1993 Caesar was a 2 year old mancat.
Caesar loved to sit in the drier, snuggling all of the clean stuff.
We never had to worry about tumbling a kitty. It was always an automatic step to check for
Caesar before doing anything with a masheen in this house.

Pierro: mom says I am just like Caesar, there might be ten Pierros in this house! Everywhere mom goes, she finds me. I am her helper Canmat in Braining. Then sometimes I need a rest in my igloo bed


Busy week ahead.
Mom did not skate last week. she is very miffed about that, so she WILL be skating today.

Frootbats Friday

Princess:

I am sorry. I have been absent from Bloggieland and I have been horrible at visiting.
Blizzie is home, and things just got busy here. She is learning the new routine here at home with Pierro, and helping mommie do a bajillion things.
This next week starting tomorrow, mommie will be spending some time with the neighbor kittygirl Squeeky. She is alone now. Her brother Muffin went to the bridge this past Tuesday and now Squeeky's family is going to northcarolinabeach. Mom is going to visit Squeeky a lot.
Also mom and Blizzie are going to gramma's singing concert on Sunday and and also Christabelle is mooving to a townhowse. So, there will be lots going on here.

Mom needs to bake something good.
Just to get the brussels sprouts smell out of this house.

ManCat Monday ~ Caesar + Canmat-in-Braining ~Pierro

Princess:
Caesar liked to help with the trash.
This is an olde picture from around early 1992, maybe when Caesar was about 1 year old!


Just a few days ago, mom was remembering. . . .
She thinks I was much naughtier than Caesar!... certainly naughtier Pierro.
Yes! me! I was the naughty one!
Caesar was a very obedient and helpful brother.
I was always very strong willed and determined when I was a kitten.
I will tell you about that some other day. . .

In that vein, Pierro is very interested in discovering new things in our house.
When he is not running around the house like his tail is on fire, he is snoopervising.

Princess:
Tomorrow mommie is driving her machine to the kollig to get Blizzie.
YAY! YAY! YAY!
They are going to cram all of Blizzie's kollig clutter into her machine, and then come home.
We are completely excitapated and thrillafied!
