Mancat Monday and a very special awardie from Stormiekins

Caesar: we hope everyone had a sweeet week-end.
Here, it poured rain all day Saturday and then Sunday it was very cold and windy and sort of sunny.
Today.... I plan on getting some well needed napping.


Wait just a minute!!! Look at this wonderful awardie that Stormie made and gave to us!!!
We are soooo honored.

Stormie has been very sick with Lymphoma this past year and she fought and fought. She had to have treatments, icky ones where she had to stay in a hospital, and then medicines that made her whiskers fall out, and she would have a sick tummy!!
Presently, she is happy and doing well. We are so happy that she is here this year to celebrate Christmas with us!!! We wish her many more Christmas's with good health!
We love Stormiekins! This is what she said about us:
"they are the sweetest and most adorable cats and always leave the most adorable, caring messages for everyone. Plus they are Fighters and put up with having flooids every day."

We have thought very very hard. It is so difficult to pick two kitties but Prinnie and I wrestled with this decision. Finally we decided on two very special kitties.


1) MaoMao: MaoMao is the very sweetest kitty boy (he is my muzzletwin by the way) He is always very happy and caring. He is very snuggly and purrrs a lot. When he is happy, he even barks! We love that. He is a wonderful kitty.

2) Dragonheart: He is our special Sphinx buddy. He teaches us all about Germany and sphynx kitties. He is soon going to be a big brother. Dragonheart always reads very throughly and carefully and then he leaves a very friendly comment. That makes us happy. He is sooo young and perky, and we are soo olde and lazy haha

We really wanted to pick 100 other kitties as well but this was so very hard, we put all of our favorite kitties in a stocking and then we picked these two great friends :-)

Mom says when she gets back from the rink, I get to help her wrap the pressies.

This week-end we learned that a former highschool chum of Blizzie's died.
She lost her battle with a very mean cancer. This sweetie girl died at the tender age of 18.
How tragic :-(

Have you noticed how we only blog on Monday, Wednesday and Friday? Mmyeah, we are not thrilled about it but mommie has been a blur of activity. She is very excited about preparing for Christmas, however she is also skating two times a week as well.

This is okay, becaaaause.... I found a Christmas pressie already!

I love this new toy. Nip makes me nuttyhappy.


We also got our Blogosphere calender and we are really happy with it!!!
Mommie wants to hang it down stairs in the eating room, but we want it upstairs our room!

Hmmmmm, we need to show you pictures of our room. It is very very comfy and wonderful.

Well, I am not allowed to nibble or lick the Christmas cactus in the bloggie below, and I really want to, but mommie put it up on the high up tv. I can't get up there anymore because I am a senior cat and my jumping legs are not reliable.
However these plants I like to sniff and lick and sometimes I chomp on them and throw the pieces on the floor. haha meeaow!

After I am done doing my mancatly destruction, I have to settle in for a nappie with my crinkly nip bee.

ps: mommie says thank you to every one for the birthday wishes and ecards. She was sooo delighted and happy to receive such sweet sentiments for her special day commemorating her aging another year!

Mommie keeps this plant on top of the television, because I can not jump up there anymore (I admit it! I am getting old and creaky at 16 and a half years old. I am officially an old geezer!). I love to nibble on this plant.

Now it has these pretty Christmas flowers on it.


From down here on the floor, it looks very tempting.
I want to taste this flower!!!!


We got a special flower from MissPeach. She had a wonderful teaparty and we got a golden rose! Isn't it stunning?

Prinnie and I love to snuggle, especially lately, it has been reeeally c-c-cold.
We got a pile of snow on Wednesday and now it is really icy!
We stay mostly in our paradise room upstairs because we have a heater in our room.

I am just going to have a little rest here this morning in the sun with my bloo blankie, then later Caesar and I are going to visit our precious ladycat furriend, MissPeach. She is having a tea party this afternoonie.

We are very excited to go to that.

This is just the beginning of a fun month of parties and festivities, to prepare for and celebrate Christmas!
I am going to bring my favorite home made cookies to Peachiekins house, full of butter and sugar. We will be bouncing!

Today, mommie and daddie are going to Merruhlind all day, to celebrate grampa's Birthday.
Mommie got this fancy cake at Wegmans because Chrystabelle still has the mixer at her house.
This cake looks very yummy, but it is covered with a plastic cover and I cannot taste it!
It smells good...

Daddie said I am in charge today.
So, I will be doing some extra patrols!

I hope every cat is doing well.
Our mommie has been busy thinking and planning for Christmas. She is determined not to get behind like she did last year... and then she had a melt down... and let me just say right here and now - it was not pretty. So, Caesar and I have been hanging around our room and when mommie needs us, we come running to help. We helped her put up the Christmas tree and put on the lights... but she has not done any shopping -- so we need to keep her focused.
I have my clean bloo blankie so I am quite happy.
We love all of you soooo much!

WE really enjoyed doing this special meme of MissPeach! She is brilliant and such a sweet friend! We love her very much.

We are brother and sister and so close and loving to each other.

We treasure the love and care we have received from our family for over 16 years!!!
If one of us should leave and go to the bridge,
it will be a difficult thing for the one remaining.
We are almost always together, and when we are not, we do not stay apart for long.

The treasures you would find in our box would be:
1. the many times that we were sick and mommie took us to the vet. She made sure that we got better. Now we receive subq fluids every day or every other day. We are happy again and we know that our family wants us to be comfortable and happy. When we are not happy anymore and uncomfortable then if we do not go to the bridge on our own, we will ask mommie to help us.
2. our handmade toys that our girl beans made us. They are loaded with nip!
3. Our blankies
4. the sunshine
5. our special heater in our paradise room with the two sunny windows.
6. our special internet friends. It makes us very happy to have friends that care about us and think that we are fun kitties and love us, even though we are not young and wild anymore.
7. our Hills k/d foods. It is not Fancy Feast by any stretch of the imagination, but it is good food, and we know it is safe for us to eat.
8. subq fluids and a brave old nurse mommie to give them to us.
9. Gerber babyfoods (hamm, chick-en [yummmm], and beeef) that we get a little bit of after our subq treatments.
10. the love that we have for each other as littermates.
11. Our beans and our sister beans.

We have been sitting in our room being good little kitties while mommie has been driving all over the place.
Blizzie is home, and now we are hoping to be able to have a HAPPY Thanksgiving with her and our big sister bean Christabeeniebelle and her boyfriend, Jason the super smart boy and gramma and grampa. We hope we can get a few licks and tastes of some Thanksgiving foods.

we hope every cat and bean has a very nice Thanksgiving or just a happy next couple of days.
We will be around now and then to visit.... but mommie is so busy, when we look at her with pleading eyes, hoping she will see our sweet begging faces -- but she tries not to make real eye contact. She did promise to put up our big tree.
After the big turkee day, hopefully we can grab her and blog!

We are going to try to do some "catch-up".... um... soon.
We have MissPeach's meme to do and so much visiting it is silly!
Mommie has to drive to get Bliz-kins from the kollig and then lots of busy
I am going to have to do a lot of helping. I do not think mommie can do any of this on her own!

Mommie has been very busy and not helping us. We are sorry.
yesterday we had the weekly video-chat with gramma and grampa !!! gramma is doing so much better! She drove to the food store all by herself on her own without grampa. With her irregular heartbeat, she has been kind of nervous and depressed, but she is doing okay. She was always worried that she might get dizzy and faint and end up back in the hospital. She is getting her confidence back! They are coming to our house for Thanksgiving!


We will try to visit around today.
Meantime, Happy Snappy Friday and keep warm and snuggly!

We are going to try to visit you today.... or most probably tomorrow.
Blizzzzzzzzzzie is coming home for a few hours today.
she has a dermatologist appointment and then she will eat dinners here and daddie will take her back to school.

So, um.... what are your plans for next week? Will you be banished to the kitty room next Thursday? Will someone come and take care of you while your beans go away and eat food somewhere else?
What are your beans doing for the Thanksgiving?

Mommie has been a blur of activity here trying to make our house look as though clean neat and tidy beans and cats live here. The whole family is coming here... well, that is the plan. It does depend completely on how gramma feels that day. So, that will be, mommie daddie, Blizzie (she comes home next Toosday again for four days) Chrystabelle and her wonderful handsome boyfriend, Jason (he is kind of a-lergic to kitties so mommie will give him a claratin) and gramma and grampa. So, it will just be a small gathering as the other relaytives do not usually come for Thanksgiving.
